Aways use Rikka when visiting Bangkok. I've lost count how many times we've used it. The pool is certainly the selling point for me. Great location, close to shops, seven eleven's and unlimited food stops. Only here for 2 days this time so spent majority...More
The staff here are really lovely and the hotel is in a great location at the bottom/top of Khao san Road. However if you’re looking to avoid noise, this hotel is still a little bit noisy and our room (not sure if all had this...More
The hotel itself is decent enough for the price. However when making our reservation i cant say for sure if it was an inexperienced staff member or a poor system of checking in. We were asked for our passport twice and the whole procedure took...More
Stay for one night , Hotel seems new , every thing is clean and staff was helpful and pleasant. Rooms are small but equipped with tea/coffee kettle, TV and Toiletries available. As KhaoSan is a party street so loud music might disturb you till late...More
This hotel is direcly on the Khaosan Road, so the location could not be better.
There is beautiful pool on the roof with bar and amazing view...
The staff is very friendly. They order taxi for me to the airport for 500,- THB.
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around
Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.

When this happens to us we usually book that night at the hotel that you fly in even though you won't be there til say 230 in the morning, it'll be fine to check in when you get there, someone will be in the night shift. It's nice to go and have a bit of a sleep when you get in that late. Traffic won't be too bad that time of night so I'd say if you fly in by 1230 you would be at the hotel by 230am,possibly 2am if the airport is not too busy. Go downstairs at the airport and get a taxi, you take a ticket from a machine and go to that number marked in the taxi parking area and ask for Khao San Rd and Rikka Inn, tell them it's the burger king end if they don't know the hotel, you'll see the sign up high on the building.
