Excellent hotel on the river near the busy part of Bangkok and Khao Sun Road. Easy access from the river and easy to use the water ferries. All you need for a few days in Bangkok. Great rooms and great restaurant at the hotel. On pier 13. We had a great time and would recommend it to anybody.

The Hotel is absolutely nice and located perfect. We were there because the price seems reasonable for the Hotel. And it is. The Hotel is clean not too loud although the pier is close by. We had a room on an upper floor what was great. The breakfast is good and you should always find something that fits in your...

We accidentally ended up staying over for Thailand New Year's. We had a corner Serene room which was actually very quiet considering the crazy water fight going on in the city. Thailand New Year's celebration consists of a City Wide water fight. Streets were filled with participants using Super Soakers and buckets of ice water. . With continuous delivery of...

This hotel located riverside is central to many attraction of Bangkok, Khao San Road and Grand Palace are walking distance, restaurants and 7-eleven are virtually just outside the hotel. Big plus is it is quiet, clean and well serviced by the dedicated, helpful staff. We had a river view high floor room for two nights, simple but with all modcons...

Chose this hotel largely because of its location directly on the river front with access to the public ferry and onward transport links and since on Pra Athrit and Soi Rambuttri area, and also walkable to Khao San Road. Loved the area but the room (Serene Corner Double) was seriously overpriced and very outdated. Hardly any lighting in the most...

Clean spacious room and toilet. Room Service was also satisfactory. Breakfast provided with options to vegetarians also. The river side breakfast tables was wonderful. Transportation via boats to temples was the best attraction.

We had a Nice riverview room. The location is just a few steps from restaurants and you can even find 7-eleven right outside the hotel. 1 hour and 500 BTH/TAKI to airport. The poolarea is clean and calm. The pool is located at the roof (no riverview from the pool). We did not eat lunch/dinner at det restaurant by the...

Spacious room with balcony in one of the best locations in Bangkok. Tasty breakfast with a beautiful view of the river, gentle reception and a tranfers and tourist agency underneath the hotel. The pool is smaller than it looks in the photo, but with so many options in the vicinity it is neither necessary. We asked for a side room...

This hotel is definately worth its price. Great location near all the major tourist areas, but far away enough so that you can avoid them. We got the balcony room on the roadside, and it's great to see everything buzzing by. Only downside is that the shower seems to have 2 settings, scorching or freezing.

We booked a balcony room overlooking the river after multiple stops at the pier and always commenting that we must stay here next year. The staff speak good English . The rooms are clean and the whole place is reasonably well keep . It's s little pricier on the river side but well worth it as you can enjoy your...

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
