My wife and I spent four nights (June 26 and 27; July 2 and 3) at The Promanade Hotel. It was our first time staying there.

The location of this hotel on soi 8 is great. Good for quietness yet only a stone throw from nearby restaurants bars and sukhimvit road and all it has to offer and the bts train station. The rooms are big and cleaned daily. Elevator in...More
We found the place to be quite clean, quiet, and comfortable [other than the usual hard bed]. We were a bit concerned given the proximity of the hotel to some adult entertainment areas, but we did not hear people coming in late or making a...More
The lift was not working upon check in so had to walk up 4 floors on a steep n narrow stairway, but was rectified by night.
The staff were friendly and helpful. Easy to communicate in English. Tried to help us each time.

With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's
hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
