For this price you find bigger and nicer rooms elsewhere. While we had one of the more expensive rooms, the room was only big enough for an iron bed with springs, a closet and one narrow passageway between the bed and the wall. When you turn on the AC a perfume of mildew is blown out. The bathroom is very... More

Me and my friend (both 20 years) stayed here for two nights in November 2016, and were very pleased. The room was small with an even smaller bathroom, but it doesn't really matter since the common areas (both outside and inside) are big and nice. Also, there's coffee and tea free for you to take, at any time. We went... More

Small hostel, great outside area with couches to hangout. Super knowledgeable and helpful staff members. Not hard to get to by train from BKK. Stayed here just a night before travelling to airport for international flight. Not near city centre but good place to stay for relaxing night before travel

Dear Traveller, thanks greatly for your feedback! We are thrilled that you found our hostel a great place to hangout, and our staff both helpful and knowledgeable. As you also highlight, we are quite close to the Central Train Station, and conveniently located for expressways to the airport. We are in the old part of Bangkok, just south of Chinatown,... More

Standard hostel. We had a private room with a/c. It was good but very small. Almost had no place to leave our cloth. I recommend they get rid of the tv to get some space. Anyway the restaurant was very good and at a reasonable price. We only stayed one night, but could tell that approx 80 % of guests... More

Located in Bangkok’s first road. It’s not in a so touristic area of Bangkok, but with good connections with sky train, boat and bus to get to the center. When you arrive at New Road they will receive you with enthusiasm, followed by a useful information pack regarding what to see in Bangkok. About the guesthouse itself, besides that one... More

Good location as right off the highway from the airport...only trouble is its tricky to spot. Taxi drivers don't usually know where it is either. It's a little further on from where they want to drop you off (with the address you show them) so stay strong. Other than that it's a good place. Clean with a nice vibe in... More

Dear Jack, thanks so much for reviewing our place, and especially to give a few of hints on how to find our location. Bangkok's traffic drivers go by Sois (side streets), and we are between Charoen Krung Soi 34 and 36. Should the taxi driver take you to Soi 34, it's a 50-metre walk back down the street, to a... This guest house is nice enough. Seems to be going through refurbishment on the downstairs which is lovely. The rooms however are still quite small and dated. I had a private room. It was small simple basic and clean. All you really need! Wouldn't stay longer than 2 nights here. Overall good!

Stayed one day in a single room. Very friendly and helpful staff and German speaking guy at the reception. Room was very small, bathroom also. It's ok for the price to stay for a night but wouldn't stay much longer especially because the room didn't have aircon.

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
