We booked a two bedroom apartment for a family with two kids and loved it. The apartment is spacious and has everything you would need for a short or long stay. Living room, dining room, fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, lots of closet space. We especially appreciated the washer and dryer since we got rained on one day and we were able to wash our clothes (make sure to bring your own detergent).
Breakfast at the hotel is great with a very nice spread of Asian and Western foods. The Asian spread changed daily and included fried rice, noodles and Indian dishes. There were pastries, cheese, smoked salmon, exotic fruits, vegetables. The bar served cold and hot coffees. There are a lot of options, though I found the Asian food a bit salty. Try to get to the restaurant early as it can get crowded. Hours are great from 6 am to 10:30 pm to accommodate different schedules. Staff is attentive.
Check in was efficient. There were no lines.
The location is in a business district so it is not as busy and convenient to most sites.
What I appreciated the most was the concierge staff. Every day I used one of the concierge staff to plan our day. They made very good recommendations, got us a taxi and made sure that the taxi uses the meter (we were not as lucky when we got cabs). On a rainy day they arranged for a driver to drive us to sites for 400 bht an hour.
The only negative that I would say is that the second bedroom for the kids has one bed, I wish it had two beds, but that’s really minor. The elevator is a bit slow but hey we are on vacation and not in a hurry.
I would definitely stay here again next time in Bangkok.

We have also opened an extension to our breakfast venue to manage overflow and compression times and are working towards ensuring that the guests do not feel crowded over. We booked this hotel for a family of 4 and we wanted our own space after leaving Japan. We were able to get a 3 bedroom that was comparable in price to the hotel in Japan the week before but that one was much smaller. Check in was a breeze and the staff was very friendly during the entire stay. When we got there, I booked some activities through the tour guide desk at the hotel. For each activity I also secured transportation to and from the activity. Which is very much worth it. The hotel was nice and clean, room was cleaned as much or as little as we needed. Water was given each day and breakfast was available every morning, which was a highlight for us. The fresh fruit was yummy! We were able to get taxis set up for other locations which was quite convenient as well. Went to the pool multiple times and did the BOGO happy hour special multiple times. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling for a short time or will be in Bangkok for a while.

I chose this hotel for a business trip due to accommodations rarely found at this price point: in room laundry, full kitchen, studio vastness and a critical/safe location. What I found was a very fantastic experience from the hotel and the accommodating staff that brought ease to my dedicated schedule. Khun Yeen, Yaya, Amber, Bo, If, and Cinamon mastered my interest in what I had to eat and drink for breakfast as well as my room number without missing a step. The kitchen staff, K. Jackie and Poon adapted easily to my particulars from their culinary expertise. The cleaning team developed to my room routine and even washed my dishes. The gym provides amble space to stay fit. Multiple parks are only 1-2kilometers from this location which made for some great evening running, with easy pedestrian paths to take without getting lost. I have visited the “Land of Smiles” many times, this being my favorite and preference for years to come.

The staff are really friendly and helpful and the hotel is nice somehow, but the rooms need some renewing and some carpentry work. It looks and feels old and shabby. Other than that I had a fairly pleasant stay. The room service menu also should be updated; I stayed in less rated hotels with better variety and better quality food.

This property is well situated , sitting at the head of a charming soi filled with small restaurants and bars. Dinner and drinks are mere steps away. A convenience store is next door to the hotel. Room rates are favorable for the quality and location. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Furniture can be a bit worn but is serviceable and comfortable. The air conditioning works well. Kitchens feature stove/oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, and washer / dryer. Cutlery, plates, and glassware are provided. Daily housekeeping service is available. There is an onsite restaurant which also offers room service until 11pm. The outdoor pool deck is quite comfortable and the pool bar offers drinks, snacks, and light meals. Staff are uniformly pleasant and eager to assist. My only reservation about the property is that WiFi was not able to consistently support streaming. Oddly, a few of the TV channels were unavailable late in the evening. With a WiFi upgrade this place would truly be a great find.

We stayed at Sathorn Vista for our first-ever visit to Bangkok, and I don't think we'll consider another hotel when we visit again!
The property has incredibly clean, well-appointed serviced apartments that were perfect for our week away from home, and didn't really leave us wanting in any way.
The food at Momo's Cafe, the restaurant on the property, was consistently good! The daily breakfasts were well-balanced, with a wide variety of Asian dishes, as well as the usual western staples. The restaurant staff were incredibly attentive and caring too, with the chef himself checking up on guests occasionally.
The staff was the selling point of the hotel for us. Every member of staff we encountered was incredibly friendly, attentive and well-trained. I appreciated the fact that the staff went above and beyond for our toddler to make him feel comfortable at the hotel. While Bangkok itself had been very baby-friendly in our experience, the hotel staff just reinforced that belief and experience for us!
I need to give a special mention to the hotel concierge; Porche. He was our first point of contact when we arrived at the hotel, and was instrumental in making our experience that much more pleasant. He went above and beyond for us during our stay, especially when one of us left a phone in a Bolt ride-share car. Porche got actively involved in translating phone calls and corresponding with the driver to make sure we were worry-free!
All in all, our stay was very pleasant. The hotel slogan says "you don't stay here, you live here." I'm inclined to agree!

Our stay at the Marriott Vista Sathorn was excellent from beginning to start. We were in contact with the hotel prior to arrival with some specific requirements, and the front desk was very responsive and helpful. Concierge, front desk staff, room service and breakfast staff was very courteous and service minded throughout the stay. Big, clean and comfortable rooms with excellent appliances and all the stuff expected for a comfortable stay. Highly recommended!

The hotel location is not very ideal for public transport unlike the other properties (the westin grande and the Sheraton grande) however the staff specially Pong (concierge) made up for that draw back. He looked after all our requests and fulfilled it above our expectation. (May I add he was very patient with us) He was very resourceful.
We stayed in a 2 bedrooms suite. The room furniture and fixtures is a little bit outdated however its very clean. The housekeeper that cleaned our room made sure that everything was in order when we came back to our suite. The only minor suggestion is that they give a sponge and dishwashing liquid for the kitchen. Although there is a dishwasher we did not want to run it when we want to just was a cup or spoon :)
I would recommend this accommodation for families and bigger groups for longer than usual stays.

I booked a Marriott Executive Apartment for the first time ever in May this year. My experience with 12 nights at Sathorn Vista is very positive.
You have enough closets to store all your stuff. The kitchen is fully equipped and - if you want to do your own laundry - there is a washer and dryer in the kitchen.
I have had my clothes washed at many Marriott hotels, but with the service offered here by the hotel, they were washed and delivered in a quality as if they were new.
The apartment was cleaned daily and I can also commend the staff here for a job well done.
The small gym on the 5th floor where the pool is, is sufficient with the equipment and at the pool I enjoyed staying. There was attentive service.
Breakfast is available at the MoMo Cafe, which is part of the property. The offer is rich and it is constantly checked if something needs to be refilled. The service of the young ladies is very friendly and fast.
However, the quality of the mattresses is not up to the quality I usually expect in Marriott hotels. The screen mirroring of the modern TVs unfortunately does not work because it does not support their network.
However, these two negative points are not a reason for me not to book here again. I booked today for 5 nights in July and take a long HDMI cable with me :-)
At some point there are hopefully also qualitative better mattresses.

Room was spotless and well appointed. Very well presented staff and reception, concierge and porter(Ae) was very helpful. The location is great, a little quieter being on a side street rather than the main road, which gets very busy. Some great food(Plu restaurant), coffee(holey bakery, smokey cat coffee) and massages on the same street within walking distance.

You can’t go wrong, the place is great. Been staying there for many years. Not sure what your looking for but the rooms are extremely clean, bathrooms are great. Kitchens are well stocked. Can get groceries many places and eat in the comfort of your room if you wish. Many water holes on the area. The Hotel restaurant is not bad, but limited. Service from front desk, housekeeping, bellmen and restaurant are extremely helpful and nice. Pool is great, gym is small but very well managed. Ten minute walk to Silom road will take you to fast food needs, restaurant, grocery stores. All the ethnic food you need. It’s a large city, have situational awareness, be security and safety minded. DO NOT haggle over ten baht, it’s not worth it. There are bad folks everywhere and Bangkok has it share. Trouble is there if you want it. Cabs are cheap. Point this is one of Marriott’s best property in BKK, I’ve stayed in most of them.
Hi John, funny you ask....in the first apartment we had all was there, all four items ( no coffee filter just instant, but sweetener and milk). After we did change both laundry items have been missing. So I guess you'll get all of them from the reception desk, housekeeping or restaurant (they claim to be first class!). No problem to buy these things locally, there is a 7/11 in 500 meters left walking distance!
