I chose the hotel because it was right beside Nana BTS. Beside its pros, it has some cons: no window, dark and quite old. The shower needs to be upgraded, I can not change the water temporature. It is too hot or too cold.

Great hidden gem. The street itself might intimidate you because it is right off the beaten path but it is really a great stay for only $60 USD. Modern clean rooms. Only con was that there were no windows. The staff was very good and accommodating for a few of my requests. A quick 5 minute walk to Hooters Nana...

Despite being next to the busiest road in bangkok and a BTS station, the rooms are especially quiet. I was armed with ear plugs in preparation for noise but it was not needed. Rooms were spacious and clean. Although be warned the rooms do not have a physical window. The larger Premier room has a large (frosted) window, the deluxe...

Dear cyMING, Thank you for sharing your experience stay at ON8 Bangkok. It's good you had a chance to explore and enjoy the neighborhood too. The BTS skytrain is indeed next to our hotel at NANA station and offers a great way to by-pass the city traffic. Let us welcome you back again soon! All the best, Annie Angsana

I have stayed in Bangkok over 50 times. I like smaller hotels. On8 is the best place I have stayed. The main reason i like staying here is the staff. Yes I was back. Nice being at home, Away from home. Always up to my expectations, friendly, genuine helpful staff, the rooms are tidy and well looked after. The most important issue is the location, less then a stone's throw away from the BTS-Nana Station. Remember I'll back back, that's for sure.

I have stayed here on several occasions. It's a nice comfortable low cost hotel. Friendly staff and great location for nightlife and shopping. The BTS sky train is right outside one of the exits. Plenty of good food and places to drink right outside the other entrance. Soi 8 is a nice place to be. Also in the same building...

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
