Had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Nikko Bangkok for around a week. My room was very clean and comfy. I did have a tiny issue with my AC which was fixed within minutes.

All the staff I had the chance to interact with were amazing, especially Proud who definitely know the good spots for food! Speaking of which, the area is full of amazing bars and restaurants, and is very close to BTS which is a must while staying in Bangkok.

All in all, I loved my stay at this hotel, and will definitely come back this coming November for my next trip.

Great location that’s walkable to BTS as well as having an indoor “mall” downstairs plus walkable to many things in Thonglor. Rooms are Japanese influenced especially the bathroom where the tub and shower are in the same room. We were able to get connecting rooms so that was helpful. Restaurants and breakfast weren’t operating at normal hours due to covid but the few times we ate, the food was good. Wifi was annoying that you had to keep logging back in with username and password several times throughout the day.

We stayed at Hotel Nikko Bangkok for one night. It is convenient as it is closed to Thong Lo BTS station and a lot of restaurants nearby. Staff are friendly. Our room was cozy and very clean but a bit small. We didn't dine at their restaurants but we had Room Service. They provided good selections of Thai, Western and Japanese food with reasonable price. We would stay here again if we visit Bangkok.

Being the newest hotel located at upper sukhumvit street they are trying to learn hospitality, which is understandable as Upon arrival there was no one to collect the bags and deliver to the room but when I asked the reception staff they immediately jumped into action to do it on their own will, which was highly appreciated as to have that can do attitude among team members. This could be due to the fact that I arrived at midnight.

The location of the hotel is walking distance from BTS training which is a lifesaver if you know Bangkok traffic but it could be good if they could add shuttle service to Emquartier as it’s just 1 BTS station away but could add a value added service for the guests.

The lobby is wonderfully designed like a business hotel where you could sit with your colleagues and have a quick meeting over coffee. There are few restaurants on the 3rd floor of the hotel which are primarily Japanese as this is a Japanese chain.

The room had a feeling of spaciousness which was very nice and being a new property there was no sign of wear off. The bed was comfortable and provided 2 choice of pillows although I always carry my own but very good quality shower gel and hand soaps were provided. Although the minibar was kept empty at all times and no coffee machine was provided.

The only disappointment was the pool area which looked like a 3 star hotel with no one to attend to you and people smoking while standing in the pool and place didn’t meet the standards of a 5 star property.

Look forward to coming back and stay with Nikko Bangkok 🤞

Terrific locations, good facilities — but improvements are needed. The biggest issue for me was that temperatures were set way too high for comfort. Maybe they are trying to save money, but to me the public areas were sweltering. In the guest room as well, even though I dialed the thermostat as far as it would go — to 18C — the temperature never fell below 23C, which is way out of my comfort zone. Do they have the temperature limited as a cost-saving measure, or was I just unlucky? Other small annoyances: bathroom was great — large, with two basins and a great shower. But while there was a small tube of “body wash” in the shower, none of the three basins (including the small one in the separate toilet room) had hand soap. No soap at all. As well, no cotton buds or other amenities were to be found (apart from shampoo, body wash, conditioner, and two disposable toothbrush and toothpaste sets. I had to go out on a shopping mission for cotton buds and bar soap — surprising for a hotel of this caliber. I would stay here again if these problems are corrected — it would not be difficult to do. Most importantly the room temperature, which caused a sleepless night in spite of the otherwise comfortable bed and quality sheets and pillows.

I just spent 2 days there and it was terrible. They advertise all the usual things you would expect from a 5 star hotel but don't provide them. I understand the covid situation is difficult, but they should update the website to show what's actually available. They advertise multiple restaurants but only 1 is open, so your dining choices are Japanese or Japanese. When I checked in I was informed there was no room service, no buffet breakfast. They do provide a set menu breakfast but apart from the toast it was inedible. Cold coffee and bad food. They advertise afternoon tea, but that's not available either, in fact almost none of the things you would expect. This hotel is operating with a skeleton staff and it shows. I went downstairs to try to talk to a member of staff at 9pm and it took me 10 minutes of searching before I could find one single staff member. To be fair, when I complained about the lack of facilities they 'upgraded' me to a better room, however the room was not significantly different. It was ok, but the toilet was so small you could not even turn around (no exaggeration). Finally, I had a small accident that left some blood on the sheets and 2 small spots on one of their bathrobes. I soaked the sheets and the blood came out, I didn't even notice the blood on the robe. However, they claim the bathrobe cannot be cleaned and tried to charge me 5,000 baht for a new one. I could buy that robe (minus the Nikko crest) for 1000 thb in Home pro. We eventually 'agreed' I would pay 2,000 thb. I am a retired Airline Captain and have stayed in 5 star hotels all over the world but have never had to deal with anything like this. Overall this was a miserable experience. There are many wonderful hotels in Bangkok, so do yourself a favour and stay somewhere else.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Nikko in Surkumvhit Bangkok. It’s a very good location, and a modern and well-appointed luxurious hotel. Our premium corner suite room was very spacious and immaculately clean work all amenities and a handy kitchen and full-sized fridge. The bath tub and shower were great, as was the nice touch of having TV speakers in the bathroom to listen to the TV while enjoying a soak in the tub.
There’s a very nice pool on the 6th floor. The staff are very friendly and helpful and prompt and accommodating with any request at all. The breakfast buffet (we paid extra to have it included in our free, well worth it) was really delicious with Japanese food options to which was great.
The hotel is in Surkumvhit, a short walk to Thong Lo train station which is convenient to get around Bangkok (recommend purchasing a Rabbit card for ease of electronic payment at the stations.)
The hotel is not too far from Bangkok airport; a simple 45-60 min taxi ride away, and taxis are cheap B and a good form of transport to get around Bangkok. Just make sure you have your Google map to show the taxi driver your destination in Thai as mostly they cannot easily understand English or Japanese.
A fantastic hotel stay and we’ll definitely stay there again.

An welcoming and modern hotel with helful and friendly staff. Located near the skytrain and to a bus stop.
The reception service was a little clumsy despite professional and kindlier.
Great gym with a lovely view over Soi Thonglor and Bangkok. A nice exterior swimming pool to go for a serene and relaxing swim. Attentive gym professionals and impeccable bathhouses.
The rooms are confortable, modern and presents an wonderful panorama over the City of Angels. Daily offer of a bottled water to everyone.
I can not eat gluten and therefore the staff from "The Oasis" carefully and skillfully adapted to my needs. I am specially greatful to Jane, Bum, Opal and Chef Billy for their services and attention. I had my own gluten free bread that was different along the days and by my request they diary made speciall dishes for breakfast and meals. The chef even had bought a gluten free soja sauce to I tasted tradiccional thay dishes. The breakfast, buffets and menu offers a good variety of japanese, thailandese and occidental options.
Very nice conference facilities.
There are no losts and founds at the hotel.

Stayed in a corner room and my favorite part was the view that overlooked Thonglor and the bathroom that took me to Japan. Cleanliness needed improvement (especially during covid days) I found several strands of hair on the bed and head board. the staff changed the sheet for me right after but it kinda got me to question the house keeping standard. Every thing else was good. Love the decoration and functionality inside the room.

By far the best hotel I had stayed around Asia. Hotel Nikko is home away from home if you know what I mean. Room is very spacious with a picturesque view window. Bathroom is separate from toilet which is very practical. Bath tub is I think one of the biggest I had and shower amenities are complete and has a good quality. You don't need to bring your own toiletries because what was supplied are of top quality. The pressure of water is strong if I may add. closet walk in wardrobe is spacious. Definitely the place to be either for business or pleasure as it is just a stone throw away from the BTS Thong For Station. Inside the hotel they have these numerous restaurants which ranges from Korean, Chinese, Japanese cuisine. One do not need to leave the hotel for dinner since there are many good choices. Breakfast is always something to look into for our 5 days stay as they have a very wide spread from Japanese cuisine consisting of Salmon, chicken teriyaki, tamago, miso soup, etc..., the usual western choices, noodle bar as well as various roast dishes. All that for breakfast !
It goes without saying that Nikko Hotel is highly recommended for all kinds of visitors and I am actually preparing for a small group to visit BKK again and for sure I will be staying in Nikko Hotel.

The hotel booked me a cab from a reliable taxi company at a fixed rate paid to the driver. The cab arrived on time and sent me to the airport without fuss. Unfortunately cannot recall exactly how much but it was about thb400.
