Checked in at 2:00 a.m. (had booked, paid a month earlier online), no room with king-sized bed, only twins I was told. I booked the former, only got it when I insisted. No directions given, nor help with bags (flew in from Canada). Loud renovations going on, something which was not mentioned on website. Asked for a receipt, given one...

First off, Id ike to point out that perhaps those who are posting very negative reviews are expecting too much for what they're paying - I stayed at the Boss Suites for 10 nights during March 2017, and considering the room was around the $30/night mark when booked through Agoda, the room and facilities were perfectly acceptable in view of...

I stayed in Boss Suites in 2014 and rated it 4 stars and said I would stay again. I did so and regretted it. The property has fallen to disrepair. The shower would not get warm. Everything in the bathroom leaked. There were roaches in the room. The only positives were friendly staff, decent wifi, in room safe, and two...

This hotel looked very good in the official pictures online, but in reality its was a let down. It was very tired and dirty. We had to change room the first night because there was a lot of bugs crawling around. The new room had no bugs. The AC worked very well, and the location is good. Quiet room. The...

After reading the horrible reviews I decided to take a chance and stay there. I posted a question on how to get there and a reply I got back was. "If you stay there you will regret it." Well I did stay there. The only thing I regret is not finding this hotel before. There is nothing wrong with this...

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
