We were a group of 15 people, who took 4 rooms of 4 beds each, for three days. Let me summarize my experience across all parameters: 1> Each 4-bed room set had only one toilet. This may not be a problem for many, but must be borne in mind 2> There is no free WiFi (apparently, this is the common...

My husband and I stayed here for a week recently, and we had a pleasant stay. We had one of the larger suites (large living room and dining area, bedroom, and small kitchen, but we really didn't need all that space after all. It was very quiet in our room and the bed was excellent. Location is excellent, and there...

An apartment converted hotel, with strategic location in Sukhumvit. A 10 minutes walk to Asoke BTS and Sukhumvit metro station. Terminal 21 is the closest shopping centre within walking distance with great choice of food outlet. Staff speaks English and was helpful. However, the room looked tired with gloomy lighting and stained bath tub. A good renovation will certainly help....

The rooms are clean, there is no tea & coffee facilities although our room had plates, knives, forks & cups & a big fridge! This hotel is centrally located, walking distance from Asoke BTS station and Sukummbit metro station, and Terminal 21 mall. You can find, restaurants, massage parlours, shops and bars around here. The hotel itself is old and in need of renovation. But the rooms are clean, comfortable and a decent size. They have TV with some cable channels if you are...

If you are looking for a hotel in a quiet location, in the center, with friendly staff, a clean room for a reasonable price this is the one you are looking for. This hotel is near malls and also the market (only opens at night) and the BTS skytrain. If I'll stay in Bangkok again I'll definitely come back here.

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
