good location, average facilities, wifi not working on most of the areas, not very spacious as well, the best point is its center location of khao san road, otherwise not very well maintained hotel or rather like a hostel..

Simple and clen accomodation. Surprinsinly silent bedrooms in the middle of the buzy Kao San. Shared bathroom was clean. Good cost benefit. Definately would stay there again to both enjoy Kao San and be able to sleep in silent.

Room ok. Clean ok. Super location. Perfect place for backpackers. Do not hope to get a smile by the staff. We arrived at 22h the first evening and the woman dont even rent us the room because she was lazy... not helpfull at all. Rude.

Title says it all, it's cheap, well located, and simple, and by simple I mean the bare minimum, bed, wi-fi, a lamp, a socket, and a door, and thats exactly what I payed for, staff is friendly and helpfull. Beware you'll be right on kao san road so its gonna get loud up until 2am other than that it's a cheap... More

Let's start with the positives, the room was clean enough, they gave us towels and the wifi was actually quite good. Now the negatives. the staff weren't very helpful at all, there was one toilet per floor, it wasn't clean it had no toilet paper or soap. It was noisy, and the bed was so hard it hurt my hips... The location is on Khao San road so if you are interested in bars and clubs it is ideal, if you aren't then I would stay away as it is very loud until about 5am. The rooms were clean and spacious but the most annoying thing was that the mosquito nets over the windows had holes in them so bugs... More

For the first time it will be little bit hard to find this hotel since it is in alley at khaosan road. Over all the hostel was great. I stayed in single room with large bed with fan for 2 nights. Fan worked very well. even this is a hostel, the hot shower worked very well. even the location in... More

We only stayed for one night here, which I think is enough, looked and felt like a prison, wifi never worked once. However the staff were nice and allowed us to check in early. You can't get a better location than khao San road. For one or two nights yeah why not because it's real cheap but any longer and... More

Hostel is located straight on Khao San Road, the most famous street in Bangkok, but deep enough in alley, so you have some privacy there also. Room was spacy and tidy, but ceiling fan was not enough, I recommend rooms with A/C. Shared bathroom was clean, but sometimes we had to wait for toilet or shower, because it was occupied... More

It was set far enough back that the noise from the road did not keep you up all night, but it was right near the action. The location can't be beat. The rooms were cheap so you get what you pay for. We had air conditioning that worked really well, but the beds were a bit hard. I would recommend... More

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
