I stayed here at the beginning of my trip and liked it so much that I stayed a second time at the end of my trip. Saranwan and the entire staff are very helpful and take a lot of pride in the hostel. It is...More
This was the first hostel I stayed in while starting a six month trip travelling alone. So glad I stayed here, the location is in a safe area and just a 2 min walk to khao San road and a 20 min walk to wat...More
The location is really good if you want to party at Khao San or if you want to go around the temples. If your agenda is shopping, not so much. Shower and toilet areas are always clean -- they even have shampoo and body wash....More
This was my first solo trip and first stay in a hostel. I stayed in several more during this trip and they were all very nice (thanks to Trip Advisor reviews). The location of this hostel is ideal, not too far from Khaosan Road but...More

While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. I took a grabcar there. Was about 400 bhat compared to the 800bhat that the airport taxis were charging. Just don't make it so obvious that you're using grab/uber as it is not legal there and the police will fine the driver 1000bhat if they are caught. This info was told to me by my grab driver when I travelled there in July 2017.
