My first time to spend holiday near khaosan road, I really love the rooftop bar, the fortress near the guesthouse, that's unexpected! For this unique concept of GH, and the price we spent in here, it's fair! Although we get a very hard bed (idk why they can't provide a comfy one) and the lack of wifi in my room,...

Me and my girlfriend spent there couple of nights at end of November 2016. The location is very good if you looking to go to Khao San Road. Its few minutes from the Guesthouse. I know there is plenty of Hotels and Hostels on the Khao san Road but this one is quiet at night. The rooms are very simple...

Quirky guesthouse within 5 mins walk from khaosan road and surrounding area but far enough away to get a good night sleep. Slightly odd concrete rooms with a mattress on the floor but we actually quite liked it. Good aircon, wifi and bathroom. Would stay here again

Really well located hotel but too noisy. The gas station downstairs is really working 24/7 and make a lot of noise... Plus the roof top which is by the way a really good place fro a drink increase the noise. The staff are kind and you'll get really good information. To be noted that transfer for the airport even really...

We stayed at the Guesthouse for 2 nights in a double room on the 4th floor. Basic room with hard bed, view on a small river and tuk tuk parking. The room and bathroom were clean. Towels smelled freshly washed, the sheets too ! We had some noise of drunk people around 1 am, when the bar closed. Very kind...

First of all, public transports in bkk are awesome, except in the Khao San Rd area, where the only way to reach the others part of the city is using the river boats. For this reason, is important to find an hotel near the pier and near Khao San (not too much, if you want to sleep). This hotel has...

Our room was quite small - no space for luggage or even small wardrobe. Well, this place was clean, but you can smell mouldness in the air. There is 7 eleven next to hotel and distance to Khao san road is about 8 minutes walk. Trip agency is just next door. Nice terrace on the ground floor, cool view from...

The Fortville Guesthouse is about 10 minutes (by foot) away from the well-known Khao San Road and therefore pretty easy to reach and very central at the same time. First things first: The staff is great! They speak english quite well and they are very helpful while being friendly and patient with lousy foreigners at the same time. ;) If...

The people for the recepcion was nice in the begining, but just when i make the chek out and leave bkk one day later, when i checked my money to pay another hotel i could saw they stole me almost all my money, they just leave me a little just in case if i check quickly. When i call to...

As most hortels in thailand do not offer breakfast, i strongly recommend the thai coffee at 7/11 Just accross the street or a delicious noodle Soup...

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
