The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is good as it is close to Khao San road and about 6kms to the MBK and Siam shopping centres. Breakfast was decent, good variety as well. It is a dry hotel so no alcohol allowed and all food is halaal which was perfect for us. The gym was pretty...

Hotel was very clean, staff lovely. Muslim friendly hotel so can't have alcohol around the pool. And you must buy food and drinks from the 'pool bar' you can't take your own. Good location. Not a huge amount to do in bangkok, especially in April when the heat makes it almost unbearable to walk around. Breakfast was fine, have a...

Lovely hotel in a great location. Big clean rooms. New swimming pool. Friendly staff who were always happy to help. Great places to eat near by and only 10 mins walk to Kao San road. I stayed during Songkran.

We stayed in this hotel both when arriving and leaving Thailand and we had a great experience. It is well located, just few minutes from Khaosan Road, although being away from the crowd and noise. The hotel is very clean, with comfortable bed and pillows. The breakfast and pool are also great. The price was very good for the location!

Very well located to khao San road lovely hotel great staff very attentive. My only let down was that on booking there was no telling that it was a no alcohol hotel. I know it's not the worst thing in a hotel but would have been nice to know before hand & given the option then to change.

Loved staying in this hotel. Me and my boyfriend were travelling Thailand for our 6 year anniversary and this was our first stop. The hotel even upgraded our room for us! The room was really big and modern. The air con was great. Wifi was really fast but you do have to keep reconnecting every time you leave and return....

This was a beautiful hotel close to Khoa San Road. The room was lovely and spacious. We had a double bed that was two single beds joined. The room was clean and very relaxing. I appreciated the sq footage. The sleep was good though I am not sure a lot of persons would like such a sturdy firm/hard mattress. The...

This was my 3rd time in Thailand and my 2nd time at the Nouvo hotel. I have stayed at a wide variety of hotels and hostels in Thailand and therefore I would assume I have a fairly knowledgeable opinion of accomodations in Thailand. In saying that, the Nouvo hotel continues to amaze me! The staff is amazing and very helpful....

We stayed in the hotel in total for 3 days. When it comes to the rooms, they are nice, spacious and clean. The biggest flaw of our room was that you could say it didn’t have a window… our window was super small and overlooking to a wall that was 1 meter away, so the room was dark all the...

We came to Bangkok for 2 nights and one day at the start of our travels. This hotel was recommended to us by a friend and we could see why! The rooms were big and spacious with a lovey bathroom area. All staff were really helpful and spoke great English. The hotel was near to where we wanted to be...

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
