If we ever visit Bangkok again I wouldn't hesitate in booking our stay here. Staff are amazing and kept us updated about our lost luggage from flying in. Breakfast was incredible and nothing was too much to ask for. The pool is great and so are the rooms. Awesome hotel.

Nestled smack in the middle of Bangkok's Sukhumvit district you will find this lovely hotel .......... "PARK PLAZA Soi 18" , as it is popularly known ... It is part of the reputed Carlson Hotels chain. I had intended staying here during my previous visits to Bangkok but somehow did not get round to it. This time I made sure...

We stayed at this hotel in April, using it as a base for our pre-booked tours. The staff are fantastic, the beds are super comfy and the food we had was all lovely. We had the buffet breakfast (from 0630 in the morning) and ate at the roof top pool/bar called Sway in the evening. On our last day we...

Amazing hotel. No complaints. LOVED the rooftop pool. Very helpful staff. I enjoyed the location. Not far at all from the metro and sky train. Also very close to a huge shopping area called terminal 21 and soi cowboy. Which is where part of the hangover was filmed. But is a little shwanky. Fun area though.

The room was clean and nicely appointed. The bathroom was especially nice. The staff was helpful and attentive. The breakfast include was very good, but mostly a Thai menu. Not much Western food for breakfast. And don't expect them to be able to properly execute an over-easy egg. Four days in a row I tried, but they never got it...

This is a great hotel with helpful and friendly staff. The rooms are amazing and the roof top pool area is nice. The prices at the bar are a bit steep but o think that's to be expected. In a good location close to terminal 21, the sky train asok station and underground. There's also a shuttle service that takes...

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
