After over a week in Bangkok sleeping in cheaper rooms, and a couple of nights in a better hotel, I can honestly say The Park Plaza is the best hotel yet. I was in the executive room on the 3rd floor (327). I really liked the decor, bathroom, bed, pillows, black out curtains, safe, and lighting. Nothing negative to say...

Good Afternoon Steve S, Thank you for taking the time to provide a 4 star review of our property. It is great reading that you found our hotel the best of the hotels you stayed in and I have to be honest, I love the beds too! Combine that with the air con and the black out curtains and I...

We stayed for three nights and the hotel was the perfect base to explore the city. Asok for the sky train is a few minutes walk as is the Sukhumvit subway. The rooms are spotless and spacious. The front desk team are really helpful, check in and out were seamless and the concierge was extremely helpful Thoroughly recommend and we...

I've stayed at this property 3 times in the past 3 weeks. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, lighting is a little dim for my liking. Ladies, depending on the room layout the bathroom lighting isn't the best for applying make up with no magnifying mirror! Bathroom amenities are basic and include shampoo & conditioner. TV channels are limited. Breakfast...

The hotel is very nice for some days in Bangkok. The concierge is very very helpful and he has nice tips where to go and what to do. The pool is nice but small and has only a few deck chairs, so be quick :) . The Restaurant is not good, the dishes are very small even for a woman,...

Centrally located, Park Plaza Soi 18 is a clean and reasonably priced modern hotel. There was a wide selection of food for breakfast. I stayed in a deluxe room which was a decent size with a large bathroom attached. The hotel wont knock you of your socks and is starting to look a little dated, but for the right price...

This is a nice hotel for the price. Don't even consider the other Park Plaza in town. The staff is friendly and helpful her and this is a quality hotel. It is close to the main road on sukhumvit. They will fetch you a cab if you need one. But it is close to walk to everything you need. Food,...

Good Afternoon Lizamo, Thank you for taking the time to write a positive review of our property. There is always some friendly rivalry between the two park plazas so I am happy to see you liked ours better:). the location is good, just 5 mins walk to Asok BTS, near to all kinds of restaurants, massage shops and other shops. The room size is ok, a work desk and a armed sofa equipped. However, smell in room is not good, strange perfume. Overall, ok for the price.

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
