I booked one night here before going back home. The location is very convenient, but for the rest I'm not very enthousiastic. First: they already charged my credid card without prior notice, which left me with too much baht in cash my last day. The staff was not very helpful nor friendly. They charge you for wifi and printing. The...

This was my second stay in this hotel. The main thing going for it is the convenient location. The rooms are quite small, the bed only fair, and the price rather high for what you get. My window looked out on a wall. The staff is marginally helpful but usrly about it. I booked online, and when I tried to...

It was our second stay here. Both times we arrived really early in the morning and staff was helpful enough to get a room ready for us as soon as possible! Yesterday we managed to check in at 6am, really happy with that!! Rooms are nice and clean! If you are a light sleeper do not stay here, as you...

This place is really nice. It's right on Khao San Road and the staff is really nice and helpfull. The rooms are big and the beds are good and then they have a pool on the rooftop. The music stops at 2 o'clock which is really early but nice when you want to sleep otherwise it can get a bit...

Stayed here for three nights. Location is great if you want all the Khoa san action and also a short trip to the Grand Palace and other such attractions. I stayed on the north wing and my room was so noisy with music blaring until 3am - this is too be expected in Khoa san but my friends stayed on...

The localisation of the hotel is really good, you are just located in the famous Khaosan Road and 20 min by walk to the Grand Palace and other Temples but if you want to go downtown it's pretty far . The Staff was so rude and unfriendly, they don't smile, they really do the minimum. The shower room was kind...

The location is as expected good if you are looking for attractions of Khaosan Road... We booked online and were given the 'Superior' room... Looked nice in the pictures but reality it was 'basic' and that's being generous... Functioning bathroom /wet room - you could pee and take a shower at the same time! (With the hose) Decor was not...

We stayed here for 2 nights before moving on to Koh Tao. It is in the heart of Khaosan Road, but we did not hear any noise at night. It was nice to be able to go to all of the bars, massage parlors, and shops right out the front door. One afternoon we lounged at the (small) rooftop pool...

The decor is very tired, not at all like the photos. Rooms are dark and the window curtains opened to concrete. The bathroom smelled a little damp. Hard bed. A few movie channel. In a noisy location with a lot of pissed idiots outside. And prostitutes, you could only mistake that if you were blind. Pool in small but the...

We wanted central, and this was central! The room was ok, we booked for one night for two separate occasions, requested non smoking, and both times the room was a smoking room. The hotel was full so they couldn't change our rooms apart from spritz it with perfume, which is pointless. Apart from this the room was fine, safe, air...

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
