This hotel adjacent to Bangkok train station was just what we needed between India and taking train out next am. We flew into Bangkok then took elevated train to connection and underground to the doors of SK. The staff was most helpful and kept our bags until our return 4 days later. Our room was quite clean and very quiet.

You will not find anything special here, price is reasonable for what you get but what the hotel really offer is a great location. Literally outside the front door is the subway station and across the street is the central train station which also has a connection to the domestic airport.

Firstly this hotel doesn't have a lift. We were on the forth floor which was a bit of an inconvenience with all our bags but no real problem. The second problem I had was that the hotels wifi was basically non existent, you can join it but you can't do much more or really anything on it! Apart from this... More

Five floor hotel with no elevator poses great challenges to exhausted visitors. The male service staff at the reception counter was rude and lack of proper communication skills. In-room facilities were not user friendly, eg. high positioned water heater and missing hair dryer.

Stayed in this hotel for one night before going to Chiang Mai. It s near to the Bangkok train station so centrally located. The room was confortable, beautifull with a big bathroom. Wi-Fi in the room, also there was the chance to est at the hotel's restaurant but we didn't try it. The price was mid range considerating its position... More

We picked this because of location, right next to Hua Lampong mrt station but we only used the subway once coming from the airport. The only thing nice about staying here was grabbing a taxi was always easy and we could walk to Chinatown to eat at T&K seafood which was delicious. Otherwise this part of town was dark &... More

So my recent trip was going to Nongkhai from Bangkok. My transport means was the SRT from Hua Lamphong (Bangkok). Hua Lamphong has amazing hotels near by the railway station. My first pick was SK Boutique. Service was don't expect much. However the rooms are amazing. There isn't an elevator so getting to fifth floor takes much time as the... More

Do not and I repeat, do not believe the reviews for this place. It is a dump!!! Run down, smelly, dirty, noisy and that's the good part. The room was tiny, no fridge no anything actually and the bathroom stank. The only window was a lauvre type so the air con was constantly fighting to keep the room temp to... More

I booked a 1 night stay here as I had to catch an early morning train to the Cambodian border. It was fairly good for 1 night. Staff have been really nice and helpful as I mixed up my arrival date. It's also close to very good cafes and restuarants. I felt that the wifi connection could have been better.

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
