Sue, the owner, met us at 2am when our flight arrived from Tokyo. We stayed for a week, and Sue and her staff made us feel completely at home. Amenities included a kitchenette-type area on each floor, rooftop access and a very small number of suites, each with is own balcony and bathroom. LoogChoob is centrally located to all the...

We had a great stay here. The location was perfect, the room and facility was great and most of all the staff was exceptional. I would recommend Loog Choob to anyone. They were a great help with all of our questions and needs.

This is a real gem of a place. The owner and her uncle cannot do enough for you. They recommended excellent local restaurants - Steve cafe and then local street cafe followed by the amazing Scirocco skyline bar.Even provided fab croissants for breakfast as an extra! All in all they made our trip to Bangkok really great.

This is a little charming homestay, with staff who do their best for you to enjoy your stay. At arrival you will get plenty of information about neighborhood and all the useful information you need about the hotel. Interior is designed with so much taste, so cozy and with common areas which make you feel at home. Rooms are nice,...

Having traveled the world for work and pleasure for years, I've seen every type of hotel imaginable. None were quite as unique and special as Loog Choob. The staff, accommodations and location were excellent. It's a decent walk away from Khao San Road, the temples and Ratchadamnoen stadium and right next to a 7-11 and a great little night market....

Nice, quiet, very clean, comfortable and above all a warm welcome. Thai hospitality at its best. Cosy, feels like beeing at home. 5 min. walk from typical Maha Nak fruit market and at reasonnable distance from main monuments. Although the area is not touristic and quite poor, we love staying at Loob Choob and we will come again.

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. It's such a jewel! We came with our son, the neighbourhood is not touristic, but it's a short ride from all the attractions. The hotel design is unique with an incredible attention to details, eclectic and Japanese touches. beautiful rooms and common spaces, a super comfortable bed and a wonderful shower. Both...

The place is well planned and very clean. The owner Su and her uncle and the other staff are very accommodating. I will stay here again and again if I will visit Bangkok again. It's a home away from home.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely homestay. Clean 4 storied more like a hotel homestay. Uncle Nipon and Su were always more than helpful we stayed in a twin room on the fourth floor and was accessible by a lift felt safe even when visiting local night market and 7eleven store just up the road. Bonus for me was...

Staying in Dusit

Neighbourhood Profile
When wandering around the Dusit Palace grounds, you'd almost forget you're still in a Southeast-Asian city. The Renaissance-style buildings and leafy gardens wouldn't be out of place in an European capital, and the serenity here is in stark contrast with the chaotic city life outside of its complex walls. Dusit is one of Bangkok's oldest districts, and while the rest of Bangkok is modernising at a rapid pace, Dusit seems to have stood the test of time. Come here to find family businesses in traditional shophouses, small-scale local markets and streets unfazed by modern city life.
