Lovely place, run by the very lovely Khun Sukanya and her uncle. Extremely welcoming and despite the name, it is more of a chic boutique mini hotel rather than a traditional homestay, but with all that you need to rival any hotel in town.
It's a great structure! I can't really say that it's like a homestay, because my home is not as beautiful as this place (I wish it was so....).
Great and friendly staff!! Location is perfect. I was there for the second time, and if I...More

We loved our time at Loog Choob and would have no hesitation booking again when we next visit Bangkok. Everything about our experience was super smooth from start to finish and really got our holiday off to a great start. The building is beautifully designed...More
What a wonderful hotel Contemporary and modern complete with family-style service. The owners are responsive and helpful, providing recommendations for where to eat and what to visit around the neighborhood. Would recommend for solo travelers, couples, or families.
This is a beautiful place with amazing home decoration and style. It is so clean everywhere in the building that it seems as if someone is cleaning floors and furniture all the time! Staff are very kind and helpful! We really enjoyed coming home to...More

When wandering around the Dusit Palace grounds, you'd almost forget you're still in a Southeast-Asian city. The Renaissance-style buildings and leafy gardens wouldn't be out of place in an European capital, and the serenity here is in stark contrast with the chaotic city life outside of its complex walls. Dusit is one of Bangkok's oldest districts, and while the rest of Bangkok is modernising at a rapid pace, Dusit
seems to have stood the test of time. Come here to find family businesses in traditional shophouses, small-scale local markets and streets unfazed by modern city life.

Yes there is air conditioning in each room. Wat Satek is a 15 min walk and on the main boulevard. Another 10 walk past Wat Satek, takes you to Koa San or the backpacker's 'mecca' of Bangkok. There are also 3 bus stops (info provided by your hostess) within 5 min walk of Loog Choob that take you to a) the mega malls, b) the palace and c) the river for boat transit. Even with the buses, you could also walk to most of these locations or catch a tuk tuk. Tuk tuks can be found within 5 min walk on each street corner.

There was nobody on duty after 10.00pm and residents use a rear entrance after that time which opens using the room card. I would suggest you contact the hotel urgently to see if they can make alternative arrangements if you are arriving during the night otherwise you'll probably have to wait until staff come on duty in the morning.
