My wife and I stayed for 2 nights in a triple room on the 5th floor (no elevator), but we didn't mind the climb as we got upgraded to a room with AC for no extra charge - which was very nice. The hostel offers tasty coconut ice cream for free, which is a cool bonus. Wifi was down one...

5-10 minutes walk away from Queen Sirikit NCC metro. Hostel is a little hard to find at first because it is in a quiet secluded neighbourhood (but very safe). There is a 7-11 nearby and they provide computers.

We booked the hostel just for two nights just before our departure to Europe. If i would know this place before, i would have booked it at the beginning of our trip. Warm welcome, very clean family rooms, with enough space and air condition, very good price, close to subway. Coffee and tea for free. I have to say that...

I stayed there only one night but I really liked it. It was clean, and the free coconut ice cream was really good! I had to go to the airport and it was very easy using the subway as the station is located only 5' walk from the hostel. Only cons: quite difficult to find at night as it is...

Reception lady during the day very helpful... hostel offers free coffee/tea and fridge space. Good location, easily reached all major attractions in 2 days. Thank you! Only 1 suggestion, request a lower floor room...

Clean rooms with friendly staff. Good amenities. Close to most of Bangkok's tourist place like The Grand palace, Sukhomvit, Patpong market, Wat Phro, Wat Arun etc. Would love stay at this place, if I visit Bangkok again in future

De Talak was a 3minute walk from the MRT so location was also a plus but what really helped was their staff. Everyone was not only hospitable but the hostel had been given a very convenient touch. All the information when a tourist would ever need was there. From tips to everything else, they were helpful. Their common area was...

De Talak locates in a valley, so it is very hard to find. But that is so nice, friendly and comfortable. There are many options for guest to choose single bed room, double bed room or dorm. There is some ice cream, tea and coffee for free. So cute!

We stayed 3 nights with different rooms, didn't have any issues except for the steps as we were staying at the 5th floor & 2nd floor. Very small steps that can be...

We spent 3 days 2 nights here with a very low price (in comparison with Vietnam and I'm VNese btw) which is very impressive. Love the common area and the kitchen with free delicious homemade icecream. Will come back next time.

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
