All in all our experience at the Korbua House in Bangkok has been very good. The room was clean, towels got replaced every day and the shower is quite nice too. Just one tiny remark: the walls are a not that thick so we could hear the neighbors heaving really loud sex, lol!

I only stayed at this location for a short time, two nights. Though had I stayed longer in the city I think this hotel would have been the wise choice for a stay of four nights or so. The staff ( Nuch & Kung ) went out of their way to make sure that my stay was pleasant enough. When...

This place is a great option if you're wanting to stay near koh sahn road but without the noise. The hotel was really pretty and they had a welcome board at the front with our names written on it which was such a nice touch. The rooms and bathrooms are really high quality for the price range. The location is...

We have stayed here before & have always enjoyed it. Like it because is close to Khoa San Rd & a lot of other place's. Staff are always friendly & helpful. We like to get the canal view room as I enjoy watching the locals going about their daily jobs. Still have found that when getting taxi from airport to...

Wonderful central location, lovely clean rooms, nice services, lovely people, very accommodating, value for money for somewhere so central, excellent. Will definitely stay here again. Wonderful look from the balcony cross the canal watching people go about their business, true Bangkok. The hosts were very welcoming, especially the owner Khun Yok, who was very friendly and could not do enough...

I spent over a week at Korbua House and was overall very satisfied with my stay. The canal side rooms are a good size and have all the facilities you could hope for. I was also very happy with the location, it is a quiet area but not too far at all from Grand Palace, Khao San/Rambuttri and also the...

We stayed here for just one night, the Room was big and clean, with good wifi and TV.. The Room had a little Terrace but it smells really bad if you open the windows because of the canal! Its a 10min walk to khao san, so its a bit quiter.. Supermarkets are around the corner and Taxis are also everywhere.....

We arrived at late time and they still provide us with care and friendly service. The hotel is located near the Kao San road and there are several restaurants nearby. The room is standard and a bit old styled. Its located beside the river and sometimes we can watch fishers and birds from the room. In the morning there are...

I've stayed in this part of Bangkok many times over 30 years, usually in simpler guesthouses, but I appreciated the higher comfort of Korbua House at an albeit much higher price than what I was used to pay. We arrived late after a long day's bus journey and were welcomed with a cold herbal tea and a refreshing towel. The...

I stayed there with my husband 2 days during March 2016. I know we payed a relatively low price but having heard about the cheap prices for good hotels and the amount of options available, I was very disappointed. I dindn´t expect luxury but at least a clean room. And having read the reviews here I never expected such a...

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
