This hotel is one of the better Marriott properties I've had the pleasure of staying in, and reviewing. The rooms are exceptionally clean, the staff are super friendly, and the breakfast selection is simply superb. The hotel is centrally located, in close proximity to shopping malls, cultural sites and various tourist attractions. There is a BTS (local light rail) station...

The team is great and very polite. They give you the feeling that you are the only one in the hotel. Luktao on the afternoon shift in the executive lounge all during the week gave great service and went out of her way to be nice. Pay a bit extra and you can get an executive room and use the...

For me, the brand 'JW Marriott' is a name of confidence. Most of all, JW Marriott Bangkok was totally outstanding. Actually, I was surprised exterior ambiance cause of Nana street. Too loud and nasty. However, the hotel was marvelous. I stayed in an executive room in executive floor. The room was very comfortable with the classic atmosphere. (I don't want...

My wife and I visited Thailand last month and stayed at the JW Marriott Bangkok. To maintain my dietary situation, I received the special attention of Executive Chef Kevin Thomson and his dedicated team of Chefs Chatpong, Tanai and Pradeep. A sincere thank you to Marriott Café’s Ms. Nattaya (hope the name is right - reading a name tag can...

An oasis of calm in the midst of the rather hectic environment of Sukhumvit. I was particularly impressed with the staff, who were universally friendly and helpful and really enjoyed winding down in the Executive lounge after long days at the trade show at BITEC. I also loved the quality of the bedding and the general look and amenities provided...

The staff was kind, always held the door open when coming or going. Rooms were big and clean, with everything included (so also iron for your clothes). Bathroom had a bath and separate shower. I would highly recommend their restaurant "Tsu and Nami" with fresh sushi! Hotel is also not far from the subway (for if you don't want to...

Dear Essie-Saiz, Thank you staying with us for your Bangkok adventure and sharing this online with other travelers. Tsu and Nami both rate in the top Bangkok Trip Advisor Restaurants. For another choice of great steak and fresh seafood, try award winning New York Steakhouse, currently featuring Jack Creek Farm grain fed Black Angus - its mouthwatering, I had some...

Excellent hotel: very good service, friendly staff and very nice rooms. The concierge desk was very helpful in recommending places to visit and shop from. I liked the idea of offering snacks in the lounges of the hotel. Great hotel and great location since it is very close to the sky train station.

Excellent hotel. Very good service, friendly staff, very nice rooms. On the positive side is also the proximity to the embassies area and of the sky train. Negative aspects: Wifi is not free. Thus is very odd for an hotel of this quality: even the lousiest hotel, nowadays, offers complimentary wifi. Food is extraordinarily expensive within the premises, although very...

Thank you for staying with us and we are glad that your overall experience was excellent. Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
