The weather was very humid when we stayed at this hotel, so it was difficult not to sweat. The location area were very busy. And due to the traffic it took us sometime to get there from the airport. But entering the hotel gave calmness. The.decoration using lots of flowers and green leaves really give natural calming environment. They dimmed...

The service does not disappoint; the service staff is the "tops." The food is amazing. The pastry chef was probably having a bad week; the only letdown on the menu were the pastries. Be assured that the pastries were good just not on par with the rest of the delectable on offer.

Now, being a Marriott member it's obviously my choice of hotel group and staying at a JW is always a nice and pleasant experience. That being said this can only be happening if you have qualified and well trained staff to accomplish that standard over and over again. This is mostly not recognised enough by customers. Then you even have...

Mostly hotel breakfast is not worth it. But the food here is amazing. Wonderful variety and service. The Japanese dinner was excellent also. However very pricey. The yoga variety run through the spa is excellent and teaching good. Facilities were conducive to relaxing. This was a great hotel for the conference I attended.

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
