I stayed recently at this property which was very connect to access to public transportation i.e BTS Sky Train and MRT subway. The lobby was very warm and welcoming with Thai-styled gold and silver decors, representing a classic Thai art. But lobby could be more lively if there would be someone walking around trying to initiate conversations with guests rather...

I don't usually write reviews of hotels unless I have an excellent or a disastrous stay with them. My recent stay with Dusit Thani Hotel, Bangkok is one my family would always remember and appreciate because we've truly experienced a piece of heaven with them. Great customer relations is one factor where a hotel can find excellence. A client will...

We stayed here for our honeymoon and it is beautiful. Our room was very comfortable, the hotel has lots to do and it is right in the heart of the city so you can get pretty much anywhere quickly. The service is excellent.

I had booked a deluxe room but found out that it had glass walls to the toilets. Since I was going to have many young (and mischievous) visitors, I spoke with the management. They tirelessly tried to find suitable room. I told them that I do not mind if they give me non-deluxe room. But they upgraded me to Executive...

I had booked to play in the Bangkok Open Chess tournament in the Dusit Thani. I was worried by the reports of protesters ensconced in the neighbouring Lumpini Park. I shouldn't have worried - the hotel was secure, and a little spot of paradise in chaotic Bangkok.

We stayed there for 2 nights ,this hotel is beautiful, clean and filled with friendly, helpful staff. It feels almost spa-like, which is a nice retreat from the hectic, loud and sometimes dirty city outside its gates. I'm not overly familiar with the geography of Bangkok so I can't say for sure whether this hotel is well-situated for the average...

The Executive Suite rooms, with or without Club benefits is spacious and perfect for a leisure or business stay in Bangkok. (Pricing is about the same as a regular room at 5 star hotels in the area). Separate seating area and desk provides space catching up on emails or relaxing after a day of seeing the sites or doing business....

I have a 6-year-old child, and the hotel offer a free set of bathroom gels for kids. The service is nice and the location is perfect who like to go jogging in the Lumpini park just across the hotel. Stayed there two three times.

My wife and I have stayed at this hotel on 3 occasions now and to be honest on each occasion we found our experience slightly less enjoyable on each visit. Our first visit just over 3 years ago was hugely enjoyable and memorable, however the past two visits have been disappointing and not what we would have expected. The hotel...

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.

“17th floor!”
quimeyv2016, 30 Apr 2017 | Read review
“There are two wings, not sure if there is a newer wing but I stayed in the one where the main lobby is. Noisy traffic (but that might be Bangkok in general), aircons are noisy and plumbing is not great (e.g. water comes out of the button area of flush when you press the button to flush, so you are always getting fingers wet). Maybe new wing faces away from the main road and has newer facilities. In any event the hotel is slated for redevelopment soon so the aircon and plumbing should get addressed.”
