This hotel has fallen victim to the 21st century madness of night life in the area - the sound of the clubs and night life resulted in our 15th level room actually vibrating until 2am. I feel sorry about it for the hotel because obviously this was once a very lovely place to stay. The hotel is definitely not five star standard and more four. Rooms are a little tired and small. The service and the staff are very polite and lovely nothing to complain about there. Breakfast is very good. I don't know what can happen to this area but the hotel chain owners need to put pressure on how there area is run - the drum and base pounding noise reaching 15 floors up to 2am?? and we were on the QUIET side of the hotel apparently!!!! Something needs to change in the area and it's up to the people who run the city. This hotel was probably 5 star amazing about 20 years ago but needs some changes now.…
Revisited the Landmark after being away for 20 years. The hotel rooms have been revamped in that time but the service seems to have taken a bit of a hit. Room standard (we had a suite with lounge access) is good, the odd missed turn down perhaps. Food was good, with a wide range in the restaurant for breakfast and the usual, more limited range in the lounge. I'm not sure if they are still struggling with the hangover from Covid with regard to staff, both in quantity and experience, but I would say that this is not up to par with the Asian hotels of this calibre. Stayed at the Shangri La on the return leg of our journey, more expensive, but a world away from the Landmark. In saying that, the Landmark is central and in a good area for both shopping and entertainment, also has the Mass Transport system directly outside if you want to get around easily. Would I recommend it, yes, but mainly because of the value the hotel offers. The Lounge is in dire need of staff and having a revamp for me to pay for that again though…
The hotel has great location The staff is not experienced to handle a normal check in on a weekend. We had a last minute schedule change so called hotel before hand. After the initial rate quote the hotel staff backed out and said that they made a mistake while quoting. So we made a booking online and requested for interconnecting room. The check in staff who looked experienced lacked the basic courtesies. He made us wait for 45 minutes for the check in. And after 45 minutes he says can’t give both the room keys leave alone interconnecting or adjoining room. We asked for duty manager or floor manager no one came and we were again told to wait. After a lot of efforts and wastage of time he gave us one rooms key and told us to wait for other key. All this time the duty manager or senior didn’t come. I hope it reaches the senior team so that they can train their staff better. As far as rooms are concerned they are small but functional for a short stay.…
Amazing hotel in the best part of Bangkok.. Shopping a'd restaurants area. With bts connection. Breakfast buffet is a amazing and the staff is very professional. The pool with the jacuzzi is sunny and quiet so perfect place to rest from a. Busy shopping day. Thanks again I will be back
Arrived late but was welcomed to an upgraded suite. Absolutely beautiful room. Very friendly receptionist sorry I didn’t get her name. Staff were all top class . I’ll be back. Great location & this is my 4th or 5th stay.
Nice hotel in a great location on Sukhumvit Road. The staff were quite friendly. We received a free room upgrade and we were able to check in early at around noon. Breakfast on level 31 was okay. Didn't get a chance to check out the gym or the other facilities. I would probably stay here again.
My family has just returned from Thailand and we want to thank the staff of the Landwerk Hotel in Bangkok ( an excellet hotel, also for the catering offer) , and in particular a member of the staff Mr Ching ,who went the extra mile to recover and return a tablet forgotten on board the plane. Mr Ching contacted the lost and found at airport and arranged everything .The tablet returned to the hands of the owner, a nine year girl , who showed her gratitudine. An absolutely personal gesture, at the outside of specific duties. Thank you Mr Ching. Balducci family from Numana (Ancona) Italy January 2023
Stayed here for over 10 years now. Always exceptional experience, staff throughout the hotel are extremely helpful and attentive , great restaurants and has one of the best steakhouses in the city. If you enjoy keeping up on your fitness there is also a very large private gym on the property as well. Easily one of the best hotels in the area and above most of the other 5 star hotels in the area.
Amazing service and attention to details. Nice modern room and luxury amenities. We loved everything about this hotel. Very reasonable prices. We got free coffee voucher as our room was not ready in a morning- very nice touch!
Checked in at 2pm, room not ready, go away and return at 3pm Sorry room still not ready, we will upgrade your room for your inconvenience. I go away and return at 5pm. I had premier room booked and was given my key to a room I had actually paid for, a premier room no upgrade. Have been landmark many times this year so to be offered an upgrade for the inconvenience was nice, too bad the upgrade was to a normal premier room. If you offer something, deliver.
