The hotel is great with friendly staff and a personal feeling even though the hotel is big. If a business room is booked there is a nice lounge where to meet people and relax and here the staff is phenomenal and really helps with everything one needs. Oasis in the town djungle. The indian restaurant is one of the best...

The Rembrandt, is very pleasant hotel to stay at. Located at Sukhumvit Soi 18. Top class service, excellent rooms. The restaurants serve gourmet food and the lobby bar with the pianist is a good place to relax. Should you have your room on one of the executive floors you will have the possibility to enjoy breakfast in the lounge that...

I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve stayed at the Rembrandt Hotel and I think a lot has to do with consistent service and some of the best dining in Bangkok ( a big call, I know). Most times I have stayed on the Executive Floor which has its own VIP lounge where complimentary evening canapes and drinks are...

Three nights and two days just is not long enough! Wouldn't want to stay longer than a week as I think my head would explode but will definitely go back to Bangkok. The hotel was okay, considering it was in a city the rooms were not a bad size. Reception staff could do with being a bit friendlier but I...

Pluses: Large, quiet room, central location near Sukhumvit. Well known by taxi drivers. Minuses: Hotel feels a bit dated. Breakfast area quite compact for the number of guests. Intense air conditioning. Gym didn't heve adequate equipment. Staff efficient but not personable. Final thought: There are better value-for-money hotels in Bangkok.

Bangkok has many choices and this one is great for a few reasons - great location walkable to Asok BTS, rooms are spacious with comfortable beds and the service is quick. The breakfast could be better. Definitely not a bad choice.

The location of the Rembrandt is fantastic. Walking distance to Asok BTS and Sukhumvit MRT. The service was friendly and the room was nice and comfortable. The executive lounge access was a bonus. We will surely recommend the Rembrandt to all our friends and family.

Went there on recommendation and more than happy to recommend it again. Smart modern hotel with friendly efficient staff. King size comfy beds, a great shower and bath, hair dryer, safe, iron/board, tea coffee facilities, multi channel TV. Odd shaped rooms due to trendy design of the tower and if there was a criticism, there could be more storage space....

This was our first hotel on our first trip to Bangkok. The hotel desk staff were efficient and the hotel provided all the facilities you would expect, multiple average restaurants, nice roof top pool, etc. The hotel restaurant was a bit disappointing as the staff's English was not great so some of specific requirements got lost, the next night in...

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
