I stayed at Marvel for 2 nights traveling between cities for work. It was way more comfortable than I expected. The room is spacious and comfy, and the bed was glorious. I slept 14 hours my first night! The staff was very kind and helpful. It is a 10 minute walk from the BTS, but I always prefer hotels that...

You can get a good deal on this hotel if you look on the relevant sites etc and go at the right time. The rooms are great although the bathroom could do with a little attention. Having a tub is nice and very rare for Thailand. Gym is spacious and has a fair few machines. Didn't try the breakfast. Swimming...

The location is a bit far around 1.2 kms from the Central sukhumbit road however again considering the money paid its worth it. The location is easily accessible as it's opposite JW Marriott. In nutshell value for money.

Positives- staff, security, value for money and the room, although dated was fine, location and availability of 7/11 and small eats and places for massage Negatives- horrible wifi and the worst breakfast buffet I have had in a long time. The buffet looked and tasted horrible!!

The front desk staff, and the housekeepers are wonderful here. Unfortunately, that is where the positives end. The breakfast buffet was cold most days, and not very good. The hotel caters to tour groups so there are some insane rushes for breakfast and some hectic elevator/front desk periods. This place was nice at one point in time but could use...

We found bed bugs in the bed, the staff refused it. so I caught 2-3 in bottle and showed them. Then they changed my room to uppermost floor. The changed room was too small. the view from the room was good though.

Don't get fooled by the beautiful lobby. Rooms were too old and bathroom was leaky. AC controls were not working. Staff were friendly though. Hotel is in a good location, and easy to reach shopping locations like Indra Square.

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
