Detailed Reviews
I am here for ASQ 16 day experience. I am on day 6 and this hotel really is well organized. They use a line app throughout. You order meals using an app the hotel created and leave notes to the chief's. Day 1 I asked for runny sunny side up eggs. They came back the Thai way fried medium. So I kept leaving notes day two better and day three they nailed it constantly. I use this as example as the experience how much the poeple actually care. They always end the conversation is there anything I can do for you, is there anything you need. The room is clean and not old. Bed is medium and TV is okay but not smart. I would recommend this hotel. If things change I'll let you know but, so far so good..... oh ya not sure if the internet or my computer but if your a day trader be prepared to delayed charts. Cost me a little money but if swing trade it works.

Rooms clean. Breakfast buffet appealing.
An extra star for Captain Win at the breakfast buffet. Super friendly and a real host. I haven't found anyone comparable in Thailand to date.
All other staff very friendly.
The swimming pool on the 19th floor takes some getting used to and isn't necessarily suitable for those with a head for heights.

Whilst the hotel is a little tired, the staff make it a great experience! I was recovering from an operation and they could not have been kinder or more helpful!
The rooms are clean and spacious, the amenities more than adequate, and the breakfast offering is simple but good.
The location is excellent, especially if you are visiting the Bumrungrad next door, and again, the staff are just brilliant!

Although several hotel staff are very friendly, the service provided is appalling. It took the staff a whole day (20hrs) to deliver a fork to my room. I had to call the reception every hour or two to enquire what is taking so long. Their response was that they're quite busy at the moment. An unacceptable response for any hotel staff to do so.
Additionally, the internet is also non-existent, from the hours of 17:00-20:00, the internet reaches maximum speeds of 1mbps. Another issue with the hotel is that the supply of hot was is extremely inconsistent. You may have to go a day or two without access to hot water. Which for an establishment such as this one is also unacceptable. Meaning the only constantly working amenities will be your bed and television (if you speak Thai). Which is about the same amenities you can get at a hostel nearby for a fraction of the price. Last but not least, when trying to call the reception for assistance, there is no assurance that they will pick up your phone calls. All in all if you're planning to quarentine in this hotel, going from my own experience, I would advise against it.

Check in starts with a lie, they say they're full when you ask for a different room...at 3pm! Hallway stinks as you approach room. Enter room...basic, non fancy, even though it's supposedly "deluxe". Curtains from the 60s. Bathroom old fixtures toilet and tub. Cheap Lipton tea provided. Breakfast sparse and un noteworthy. Pool on top uninviting, no shade, no guests. Bed not secure. Won't return. Suggest the BW nearby.

Nice location, but service was poor. Room was clean and roof top pool was great, but hall way had bad odor. We arranged the airport ride from hotel, but driver did not come and ended up getting taxi on our own and almost missed our flights. Kind of run down.

Checked in 1 AM. Slept there for eight hours and was rushed out before checkout time. Came down with a lovely case of bedbug bites within the next 24 hours. Hotel said they did a pest report for what it was worth. Would opt to never stay there again. Even though they were kind enough to follow up.

Responded 22 Apr 2024
Dear Guest, (privacy) We had replied to you once but this is really not the accurate information. please see below Response from the ownera month ago ***the support document from pest control partner attached in your personal email that we are clear from insect** Dear Madam, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. Unfortunately, we were surprised to hear about the incident you mentioned regarding insects during your recent stay at our hotel. We wish to clarify that upon receiving your report several days after your departure, we promptly engaged Pest Buster (Thailand) Co., our trusted pest control partner, to conduct a thorough investigation. During their two-hour inspection, the professionals from Pest Buster meticulously examined every corner of the room, including flipping the bed and mattress, but were unable to locate any infestation. They have provided us with a detailed report certifying their findings on their official letterhead. While we understand your request for reimbursement for one night's stay, we regret to inform you that due to the time elapsed since your departure, we are unable to process a refund retroactively. However, in an effort to maintain a positive relationship with you, we are pleased to offer you a complimentary voucher valid for one year as a gesture of goodwill. We kindly urge you to reconsider the situation, as unsubstantiated claims can have a negative impact on our hotel's reputation. For your reference, we have attached the documents from the pest control inspection that were previously emailed to you. Thank you for your understanding, and we hope to resolve this matter amicably. Warm regards, Hotel Management

This review is from a single male interested in sightseeing, shopping, nightclubbing and the ladies.
Location
----------
The location is superb, close to the sky train station at Nana, about 10-15 minutes walk. However, if you are American and not used to walking, you might want to consider something closer to the Nana train station, e.g. City Lodge, Ambassador, Amari, etc. It is close to all the action at Nana Disco, Go-go bars and Discos and Sumkhuvit shopping.
Staff and Facities
-------------------
The staff is very friendly, and they remember you, this will not be the case at large hotels such as Ambassador, where you are just one customer of hundreds. Everything is taken care of quickly including checkin, checkout, room issues, etc. The exercise room it is the best that i've seen, which includes 4-5 star hotels in America. I hear the pool is nice, but never got a chance to check it out. Free Breakfast is very good (eggs are made to order Embassy Suites style), however you get tired of bit in about a week, for comparisson purposes breakfast at Ambassor was terrible I went in one morning and did not eat, it looked awful, plus there were no tables available.
Room
-------
The Hemmingway Room had a safe, was clean but a bit dated, the tv was small and tv reception was off. Two free bottles of water every day. The Hemmingway room was very big, and there are only a few rooms per floor. Request a corner room if you are a single male for a more private room with a better view. Don't forget to ask for a double, otherwise you will be asked to pay a small fee when you bring in guests ($500baht every night).
Internet facilites in room were available but not working at the time.
Other
------
Booking trough a travel agent local or internet seems to be better than trying to book the hotel directly. I'd stay again for the size of hotel, location and staff friendliness.
