This was a terrible experience and pribavly my last time staying in the area. Crowded and dirty area. Hotel itself is terrible. Small bad reception area. Rooms are dirty, rusty and warm. First night i felt i could not breathe and had to change the room during the midnight hours due to a non-functioning air conditioning. Small old lift, only...

Stayed at the great little hotel again. The first time I stayed here in 2015, the pool was being renovated. It is finish and really nice. Especially in the Thailand heat. Unfortunately the hotel was sold. I was there the evening the owner and friends had a celebration party. It's my guess it will go the way of the old...

My 2nd stay at this hotel, always enjoyable & relaxing. Nice breakfast. Lovely pool. Close to all you need. Quiet rooms & kept clean. Fresh towels. Drinks at the bar are a bit overpriced but there is many bars close by.

We have stay at this Hotel for 20 years and always be happy for that. Super good hotel in a perfect location. Close to Skytrain and taxi. This hotel is beyond terrible. The Rooms were very dirty. The Smell was un-bareable. Toilets did not work. The Staff was extremely rude and did not even speak English. (Which is unexceptable) plates full off old food left in hallways for days. Free breakfast was not fit for animals. We had hair in one of our plates and the staff...

I have been coming at Stable for many years and have always enjoyed my stay. From May 1. the hotel has been sold and things are now very different. Most of the kitchen staff are no longer there, the menu card will be held at a minimum, the rooms are not getting better, all the interior should have been changed...

Clean rooms with big balconys. I enjoyed my room to the back side with a nice view on to the sky scrapers around suhkumvit. The location is close to a busy part of town but down a soi which gets more quiet the further down you get. The only thing i didn't like was that they are very stingy about...

The rooms desperately need a facelift. I had to plug in my laptop on the bedside table and work from my bed as NO plug socket on the opposite wall to use the main table. One could get hot water but the heater was about 10 - 20 years old!! Redecorate and rewire the bedrooms to bring them up to...

Just off Sukhomvit Road on Soi 8 this Dutch owned hotel/bar/restaurant sits. It's no more than a minutes walk to the hussle of Sukhomvit & maybe 3 mins from Nana BTS but it's quiet with a great pool to cool off in at the end of a busy Bangkok day. The rooms are not luxurious but you're not paying for...

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
