Now before I get started on this review I've lived in hotels all over the world since 1998. I have worked in many countries and since 1998 around 90% of my life is spent in 5* hotels.

It is our great pleasure to get your shared experience thru the TripAdvisor during staying at our Salil Hotel Bangkok, we appreciated all your compliments us and we are looking forward to welcome you in the next future.
I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel last month. The hotel is a normal 3 star category with a restaurant and a bar on the ground floor.
The rooms are uniquely styled and apt for short stays. The staff is also good.
It was not surprising that this place is one of top ranking places to stay in bangkok. It was clean, and decorations made me feel so relieved. The employee (his name is paul and one of handsomest guy in Thai I guess) and Eye were...More

With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's
hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.

Roythe, you are rude. Don't assume, don't recon and don't insult people. You're talking about travel as if it were some kind of prestige to be 'well travelled'. I guess better manners and what's in the brain and heart would give you much more prestige. As for Salil - a very nice hotel, though the staff weren't very friendly at times and my room smelt of cigarettes. You say 'take it to the management' - I did, but tripadvisor is also a place where to write your opinion - whatever it is.
