Night staff requested accommodation price guarantee once again, this is not passed in the hotel policy. Also he wanted to leave one of the passaports at the reception. However at 1am. I have not encountered such behavior in Thailand. The room was good, parking is at a distance from the hotel. The breakfast was good.

Ok, it's getting old, but for the price and at this location it represents pretty good value. It's actually cheaper if you book direct, which became clear when I booked a second room for the last two nights of my five night stay for some relatives to join us at the Palace. Best to try and get a room towards...

Our favourite hotel was booked out, so we stayed here. Close to Ekamai bus terminal, BTS, with great food stalls around. The lobby has an old fashioned feel, but get past that the rooms are great size, clean and reasonably quiet. The espresso coffe is nice touch with complimentary breakfast.

We stayed at the hotel for 1 night after we arrived to Bangkok and before we made our way to Koh Samet the next day. A pretty decent hotell close to Ekka Mai buss station. Everything was satisfactory, good beds, big room, good bathroom, cooler, tv etc.. Good service.. only slightly annoying thing is the expensive extra charge for early check in. A plus was that they accepted a delivery a day or so before our arrival.

Neighbourhood Profile
Thong Lor & Ekamai
Known as Bangkok’s hippest neighbourhood, Thong Lor and Ekamai is where the city's well-dressed and well-heeled spend their nights sipping cocktails in hidden speakeasies and posh restaurants. Live it up in one of Thong Lor's extravagant clubs and be prepared to brush shoulders with a Thai celebrity or two. While great for a night out, the area is nothing short of interesting during the daytime, either. Expect a mix of savvy coffee shops, pop-up bars and loads of vintage stores, brought to you by hip locals with eyes for design.
