If you require all the trappings of a 5-star hotel, you may want to look elsewhere. If you like a spotlessly clean and minimalist budget hotel, The Warehouse Bangkok is for you. Our room was a third floor corner room facing the street with all its hustle/bustle and noise. It was spacious with a concrete floor and a minimalist decor....

Very nice and simplistic hotel, great cafe / bar in the basement; a rooftop terrace is available for guests, but there are no drinks served there - you have to bring your own. The hotel is close to many sights, but is otherwise not so well connected in terms of public transport. for getting out of the neighborhood, it is...

We stayed for a few nights in the Warehouse and were very satisfied with our choice. The location of the hotel is unbeatable- right near the Grand palace and within walking distance to Khao San road. It was therefore an ideal base from which we could explore Bangkok, stay close to the action, but also retreat to somewhere quieter at...

I have been visiting this neighborhood to visit colleages and friends on holiday for 7 years. Finally there is a spacious cafe and it us kitty-corner. Its openess is inviting with tables for breakfast, lunch or dinner and cozy chairs to sit and read in. It's not only a Cafe but a questhouse type inn or hotel. It is immaculate...

Really enjoyed our stay at this very affordable clean hotel in Old Bangkok. Forklift cafe is fun and good. Great WiFi and printing services for the traveller. Very clean and they try hard to look after you. Close to Khaosan Road and lots of sites so you will have lots to do. 7 Eleven is a block away. Neighborhood is...

The location is good since it is near khaosan road and grand palace. Not too crowded and noisy. Eventhough it was a bit creepy to walk during late nights but we havent experienced anything bad. The staff was really helpful and the room was really nice. It looks warm and cozy. Will stay here for my next trip in bangkok...

The Warehouse Bangkok is a nice little hotel close to great tourist locations. However the blocks close to the hotel are a bit weird and there's a lot of prostitution around. If you don't mind this and it is the first time you visit Thailand, I think is a good place to move around the old part of the city....

Stayed at The Warehouse from June 5 to 7, upon recommendation of my sister. Service was very good, from check-in to check-out. Reception staff was very accommodating in answering my queries. Hotel concept and design: I really like the industrial and minimalist look and feel to it. Restaurant: Ordered lunch special for my last day (meal plus drink and dessert),...

Very clean and quiet room. Interesting and modern decor. About a 5 min walk to Khao San Road where all the action is, so a great location. There is a secure luggage store to keep your things in after you check out. Certainly not the cheapest place to stay in Bangkok but a great respite from cheapo hostels!

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
