Don't get me wrong this is a genuine 4-star hotel in a very good location in Bangkok (Sukhumvit area). There is a nice, albeit small, rooftop bar. Unfortunately, given my high expectations, it is a bit dissapointing. The wing we stayed in is more a...More
This place was fantastic - Very plush! We stayed here on our last 2 nights before returning to the UK. The staff were friendly, the leisure facilities were great! The pool is on the 9th floor and has a glass surround so that you get...More
We booked 3 nights at this hotel because it was described as a boutique hotel. When we arrived we were informed that the rate we paid for was actually at a property up the street. To stay in the main property we would have to...More
everythings in this hotel just average. big room but almost no furnitures, so looked funny. the staff barely spmporium eak english...makes difficult to comunicate. the only good thing in this hotel is the area..its only walking distance to Emporium mall.
The hotel is lovely. Very spacious rooms ( we stayed in a Davis suite) and the breakfast buffet was very good. The staff are polite but not friendly. We stayed for 6 nights and felt that the staff did not recognise us despite the hotel...More
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's
hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.

Hi, it costs about 400-450 baht. We looked at the train option but with two suitcases and changing trains then walking about a km from the Emporium station it was going to be a bit of a mission. Easy to get a taxi from the airport but like most taxi drivers theyll try and start at around 600 so just move on to the next one. Its controlled quite well though so you shouldnt have to pay more than I said. For the rest of our stay though we bought a train pass each and that was the quickest and cheapest way to get around. The hotel has a tuk tuk that goes up to the Emporium station (5 mins) if you dont feel like walking otherwise its a quick ten minute walk on a pleasant road. Enjoy your stay. The Davis is lovely
