Dear Sharyn C, We're thrilled you enjoyed the service and facilities of W Bangkok all around and thank you for taking the time to share your experience in this review. Located next to the Chong Nonsi BTS skytrain, it is indeed easy to get all around town as mentioned, being only 3-stops straight in to the doors of major shopping...

The location of the W is ideal, in the centre, close to restaurants and clubs (see my reviews of Namsaah Bottling Trust and Maggie Choo's which are both very close). It is a big hotel, so it can feel a bit overcrowded at times, when checking in and out, but the staff capacity is good, it doesn't feel understaffed at...

Dear lethertravel, W Bangkok is a blend of past and present with a combination of 403 guestrooms set in a modern building while next to a 127-year old mansion at The House on Sathorn, a multi-venue entertainment complex. We are also situated next to the Chong Nonsi BTS skytrain station. Many well known restaurants and bars are indeed in this...

Enjoyed my stay at W Bangkok over the weekend. Got upgraded to spectacular room. Love the room! It will be better if it's a suite. 😜 Pool & gym located on 6th floor. Love the pool, a bit small but you are able to enjoy the sun as there is no surrounding buildings that blocked out any sun. Nice gym...

Dear Fiv F, It sounds like you had a chance to explore many of our facilities along with the surrounding area and made some discoveries for enjoyment. Our WET pool area is 24-hours with LED lights and a sound system in the water! Unfortunately, our breakfast buffet did not exceed expectation so if there is something you would like to...

Pros: we like the friendly service and the convenient location. Got a free upgrade and an extra drink voucher as welcome gift. Room was spacious like most five star hotels in bangkok. The bed and linen were exceptional. I slept like a baby. Cons: we don't like decor that much, it's a bit too flashy and not very tasteful. Especially...

In my top 3 of best hotels I've stayed in. Great breakfast, big and modern rooms, good staff and an amazing restaurant! Also make sure to go to the bar next to the reception desk, it has great cocktails! Swimming pool is also awesome, certainly at sunset.

The W Hotel in Bangkok is a everything you would expect from a 5 star hotel and more. It's modern without being clinical as there's lots of warmth. The pool (wet deck) and the Woo Bar are fantastic spaces to meet up with people and other guests and the buffet breakfast is great value. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Dear Kristen E, W Bangkok aims to be a destination within a destination so our in-house facilities are designed to make staying in an easy choice and is often frequented by the local community as well. Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
