It is a small place and clean but the window can not be open. It's ok for having temples and other places to visit very closer to this hotel. They give us coffe every day morning and changing towels and lawndery.

The hotel locates in the nice location, just right behind Wat Pho. Royal Palace and Wat Phra Keaw are within a walking distance from the hotel. The price is decent and the room is quite clean. However some room type may not suitable for an elder as there is a circular stair for the access to the bed. There is...

This place is easy to reach if you know how to travel by boats. The room was ok for us to stay for a night. Once arrived, there was no explanation, no info, no welcoming face... nothing just to get the key and be told where was the room. The room was clean and cozy with vintage decoration. We stayed...

I just stayed at Chetuphon Gate few days ago. First of all, I'd like to thank you to the staff who upgraded my booking to a deluxe with free of charge, I really appreciated. This place is suitable to explore the cultural, old town, city tour - no rush just to relax. The room was really clean and the location...

You could grow your own food faster than service here. Food for each person came at different times. Food was bland, lacked flavors, except for the soups which were good. Avoid -- there are better places nearby.

The hotel staff were friendly, and the location is in a quiet location near Wat Pho and the flower market. Unfortunately we booked this place without checking the Trip Advisor review which correctly mentioned that there were bud bugs. We noticed bud bugs on the day we were checking out (I saw at least five). We ended up spending our...

This little hotel is small and well run. When we arrived late they had left a note for us to find the connection to check us in.......after midnight!!!!! The room was pretty small, but clean and well appointed. Right across the street from Wat Pho. couldn't be better situated.

The hotel is almost impossible for taxi drivers to find, even with the map on the back of the business card. I finally started to tell drivers to just drop me off at Wat Pho, and then walked the rest of the way. The room I booked at the hotel claimed to have great views of Wat Pho, however, if...

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
