We stayed here for 3 nights in April 2017, room was clean and had a good ensuite. Pool was lovely and the breakfast looked good but closed at 10am. Good location with a 7/11 just around the corner. Short walks to the main attractions and sights.

We stayed for three nights and found this hotel to be very good value. The pool was a great addition after a hot day in the city. We paid an extra 50% of the daily room rate for a late checkout which was worth it for us. Friendly helpful staff. The rooms are of a reasonable size for the money....

I didn't know what to expect with this hotel as there are so many mixed reviews. But now after staying their and have experienced it for myself I must say it is very below average considering its rated 3 stars. We checked into our first room and it was horrible. The bathroom had mold and all the grout in the...

This is a city hotel with all it's advantages and disadvantages. Good location but noisy. Very good breakfast, simple but clean rooms. For a few days city break this hotel is perfect. The swimming pool is nice but ice-cold.

We arrived in Bangkok at 11pm after a 17 hour flight to begin our travels, the hotel was clean and accommodating, lovely pool and bar area, our 3 bed room was huge with lots of big windows and lots of storage. I'd say it was slightly overpriced as we've since stayed in hostels way nicer for lots less but it...

Nice hotel, great location. Easy to move around walking. Quiet and peacefull. Not luxury, but ok to spent a few nights. Nice staff, good breakfast. Building and the rooms may need a little facelift...

The pool area is amazing. And that's the best thing about this hotel. It seems like it once was or still has the potential to be a very nice hotel but they have just let go and stopped bothering with maintenance. This place needs some serious love: clean and repaint walls, get rid of graffiti and mold stains. Our double...

What a terrible room we were given, on exiting the lift we thought we had arrived at one of those blocks of accommodation you see on TV in China. The floors looked as if someone had tried to sand the concrete but given it up as a bad job. The porter then attempted to get the lights in the room...

Quite, comfortable, clean rooms. Just make sure you don't eat the breakfast buffet the day following a pesticide fog application on the nearby bushes.. I watched in horror as the fog consumed the entire seating area and the plates they leave out all day. Other than that my stay was lovely.

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
