Bangkok Christian Guest House is a quiet, well appointed accommodation in the heart of one of Bangkok's business and shopping areas. Rooms are cosy, staff very friendly ,breakfast more than adequate and it also has a wide range of tourist attractions from which to choose at competitive prices. There are lots of eateries in the area from top class dining to...

Great place to stay. Highly recommend. Close to great shopping and sky train. Not a place to come if you want to party. But epic for us as we were looking for somewhere nice to base ourselves. Cant not mention - nice to stay somewhere with fellow Christians. Also food nice, staff nice and all round highly recommended. Nice and...

Our taxi dropped us off in Silom Street, pointing us down the wrong side street, which could have been a problem. He overcharged us too by 50B, it should be 350B from Don Mueng Airport to town. Thankfully we discovered we could go through the big Central Plaza and out the back door, turn right and our hotel was just...

Great location on quiet soi near Silom, BCGH is a well priced, extremely clean place to stay with comfortable if basic rooms. Breakfast is included in the room rate and offers fruit, yogurt, eggs, Thai dish. Interesting fellow guests often in the city for a conference or small meeting. Very nice and helpful staff. Good value for money as a...

Stayed here a while ago and was convenient because my mother actually needed something close to the Bangkok Christian hospital, which was 5 minutes away. The staff are absolutely lovely, however if you are after something more luxurious, this isn't the place for you. They provide the necessities for accommodation, a bed, Aircon, water, bathroom and breakfast. The guest house...

I stayed for a week and a half and was very pleased with the facilities. The room was clean and lovely, with a well-functioning A/C, quite a comfortable bed, an in-room refrigerator with bottled water, a very hot shower with great water pressure and daily cleaning service. The only thing that needs improvement, as others have mentioned, is the internet...

I have previously written an excellent review of this guest house, and still maintain it's a great buy in the area, and appears to be very safe. The location is premium and it's one block to the Sala Daeng Skytrain Station. I was there about 2 weeks ago for several days and was so disappointed that the internet service had...

Have now stayed at this hotel 6 times. It is in a good location, close to Limpini Park, good shopping, restaurants, underground, and Skytrain. Bangkok Christian Hospital is very close and my wife needed it because of lung congestion. A long ways to the airport. Hotel serves an adequate breakfast. Rooms are clean with AC, TV, and hot showers. 4...

We stayed here for 2 nights with our party of 6 in a nice 2 room suite. We had requested a baby crib in the room and they had a nice one ready for us in the room when we arrived. Free bottled water in the fridge was nice as well. Breakfast was fine. Beds were hard but clean. There...

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
