This is our second stay at this great little hotel. It is clean, tidy and comfortable for a 2-star hotel and definately value for money. We will stay here again when we pass through Bangkok.

Arrived at hotel at around 8pm on 3rd January, we paid 500 Baht for a taxi to the hotel from the airport between four of us. Checking in was easy and we were even given a complimentary cocktail. We had booked a deluxe room as i'd had bad experiences of standard rooms in other Bangkok hotels in the past. The...

When we first arrived at the Bossotel it seemed okay, despite the desk clerk's less than warm reception. The rooms were okay, and the buffet breakfast was fine with many choices. We did, however, get a bit of an attitude since we didn't turn in our breakfast tickets which were never given to us in the first place. The next...

This hotel served us very well for our 2 night stay in Bangkok. It was clean and appeared well-run. We were greeted and taken to our room promptly upon arrival. The room easily met our expectations. We enjoyed the full breakfast that came with our stay. The hotel was in a great location for exploring the city.

For my second visit to Bangkok, I chose the Bossotel at the recommendation of a friend who is a travel agent in the city. I wasn't looking for elegance, but for a comfortable, clean and centrally-located property. It was all of these things, and offered a very convenient point from which to explore Bangkok. The hotel is on a short...

My wife and another couple stayed from 11/27/2007 until 12/2/2007 at the Bossotel in Bangkok. Our reservations and payments were made via Asia.com on-line and handled promptly and properly. According to the hotel, we received an unexpected room upgrade due to the standard room unavailablity. The location of the Bangkok hotel is excellent and the hotel amenities are satisfactory. The...

Stayed here from 12-16 December, excellent location, right next to skytrain and water bus stops and lots of taxis and tuk tuks about too. Room great for the price and star rating of the hotel, we were hardly in it anyway. Breakfast great, good selection of European/Asian selections. Staff friendly and helpful most of the time. Would definately stay here...

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights starting Nov 25. The superior room was very good. Good size, 2 bottles of free water. The breakfast buffet was very good. The location is close to Sky train and public boat transportation. The only problem we had was the temperature of the water during a shower. It would go hot and...

We stayed at the Bossotel Inn for three nights in May. Firstly, the location was great. There are so many different areas in Bangkok, but the Bossotel is conveniently located within walking distance from the sky train & water ferries. Everything about the hotel was very average. The lobby was nice, the rooms were big, bathroom was clean. There was...

My husband and I stayed there at the end of our honeymoon in Thailand. The location is convenient, and next to some of the fanciest shopping in the city. You're next to the Shangri-La hotel, and State Tower, and great jewlery stores. The hotel is basic but charming. The rooms are large, but a little run down and tacky with...

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
