Over a month ago, I paid over $100 to stay at this hotel and emailed the management over 3 times asking for payment confirmation on their end. It wasn't until a month later when I became a bit rude that anyone answered me. They didn't have my payment. I checked with VISA and I was assured that it went through...

The hotel and the ambience was below average. We took a triple bedroom which was very small and when compared to other hotel it wasn't a good deal for money. The only plus was the restaurant which was really good. The location of the hotel is very much bad coz of the rad side restaurant which created a bad smell...

Halal Indian food available, walkable distance to Indian Muslim mosjid called Bangkok Mosque. Very suitable for South Indian muslim. No alcohol provided as the hotel run by Muslim. Room charges are normal like any other hotel. Can easy accessible to BTS, MRT, River city and all attraction in Bangkok. Located heart of the city.

I stayed at this hotel during my trip to Bangkok in August 2013 and June 2014. This hotel is an Indian hotel and was recommended by my friends who visit Bangkok frequently. The staff is very friendly. Food is a bit expensive and the TV has very few channels. But the rooms are clean and well maintained. Plus there is...

We arrived late in the evening to a room in the 2nd wing which was tiny, really dated and looked like it hadn't had a deep clean in years. He said rooms with wifi and a little better were 900thb. We decided it wasn't worth it. Then he compromised and said we could upgrade for the 680 a previously agreed...

This a very basic budget hotel so dot expect much out of it. what most of the reviewers missed here is that this hotel has 2 wings, one with elevator and the other without it. lucky travelers find the right wing. Although it a bit far for a walking distance toward BTS, buses are available towards the station. All the...

We booked a room online and were told our card details were only for comfirmation and we would pay in situ in local currency. When we checked out we were presented with a bill for 1200 Bhat ($40), which we payed. When we subsequently arrived at a hotel with wi-fi and checked our bank account we found out that they...

The hotel is nothing to write home about but if you have a taste for adventure, Bangkok is suitably exotic for most people. At first the city appears overwhelming but if you stay close to the river, which is also the main highway, you will not go far wrong. The river taxi boats are extremely cheap, even if you get...

I am a regular visitor to Bankok. I recently stayed at the Woodlands Inn primarily because I was in the company of some Muslim friends. This is a very basic hotel- more on the style of non star hotels in India. The only advantage of the hotel is that the hotel restaurant is Halal (that is no pork or alcohol served...

Definitely I do not recommend this hostel even to my enemy.. Poor service, rude reception, bad location, and the worst part is big cockroaches in the room. Stay away if you are concern about your health. This hostel need serious renovation from top to bottom

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
