A hotel under construction is not a pretty sight. The Centre Point hotel is no different in that respect. When making the booking we were unaware of the renovation works and might would have chosen a different hotel had we known they were underway. The breakfast room has a hectic feel about it, is too small and quickly gets crowded, the quality of the food is somewhat mediocre, and the coffee machines, which give off hot steam, are awkward to use. The hotel has only four elevators, which cannot handle the guest numbers during peak times leading to long wait times. The renovation works aside, the hotel, in our view, has a few redeeming features. To end on a positive note, the rooms are fairly large and well-equipped although not everything was working as it should in our room (e.g., TV in master bedroom did not work). Also, on the day of departure, after checking out, we were able to use the pool and gym which we thought was a very nice touch. We might use this hotel again but would definitely try to avoid it during a time of renovation.…
I always choose to stay here because of the amazing team and hotel. Special thanks to Mr. Christian, Mr. Matthew and Mrs Alice. You're an amazing team. See you soon. Everything is superb and getting the larger rooms are certainly worth it.
The best hotel in Bangkok for! Very specious, including all the facilities and balcony. The team is absolutely friendly and helpful. They were just beside me whenever I needed. I lived there for 8 nights and it has been a wonderful experience. There shuttle is always ready to take you to the main road. They were super prompt whenever i called them for anything in my room. And, I must mention, Kessara Aeamjan is a treasure for Centre Point. She was there since the beginning I showed my interest to stay in the hotel. She never takes more than 10 minutes to reply your mail. I mailed her more than 35 times, and she replied! It was regarding the Thai Application issue and I was so worried about the Test and Go program; she was completely there to make my life easy. At times I felt that she would be annoyed and won't reply my mail, but she proved her professionalism and dedication towards her work. The next times i will stay in Centre Point, that will be specially because of Kessara. I hope her success at Centre Point. next time I will stay in Centre Point Pratunum area, and Kessara already helped me with those information. I highly recommend Centre Point. You will love the big rooms with big balconies and the wonderful team! …
Rooms were very clean and staff friendly and helpful. Hotel offers a shuttle from hotel to Main Street they claim it’s comes every 10 min . Hotel Shulttle was almost never at the Main Street no matter how long we waited. Everything else was perfect
Stayed here for two nights in February 2022 and have nothing but praise. Unlike my last visit, my friend took care of the booking so found myself in a standard room (last time, I booked a one bedroom suite) but the room wax perfect. Still had a large refrigerator and a large balcony with a view of the park. So the rooms are great, comfy and clean with a decent selection of channels on the TV. The hotel has facilities on site such as an ATM and a supermarket. The team are really friendly, very COVID safe and helped me off multiple times arranging taxis and liaising with drivers to confirm destinations. There’s a really helpful shuttle that runs to and from the main road that you can call if you need it (if it’s not already there). I will say the walk to the main road is actually not long and is pleasant. Especially at night. Then when you do hit the main road, anything you could possibly need is a short walk away. Including a COVID test centre that I needed before moving into Singapore. I’ll end with a huge thanks to the Centre Point team. You rock!!…
I have been here twice and always had an excellent time. The location is superb, a short 10 min walk to the main street and Terminal 21. The service is always excellent, helpful and kind. The biggest reason I keep coming back is they have large suites with 3 separate bedrooms, multiple bathrooms, kitchen and balcony views. it is excellent for large groups who want to stay together. The breakfast buffet is excellent with great fresh fruit, eggs, omelets, pastries. There is even an ATM in the lobby for added convenience.
I am disappointed by the rude attitude of the receptionist Mr. SAKA (he refused to mention to me the full name). I stayed a month on April-May 2021, and they charged unfairly 50% of the room for only 3 hours delay on check out time (I left the room at 9:00 pm instead of 6:00 pm). There is here a lack of commercial indulgence towards a member of centre point always rewards program, really disappointing.
We booked our reservation (originally for 12/20) 11 months in advance but COVID prevented our entry into the Kingdom at that time. Although we pre-paid a non-refundable reservation on Expedia, Joseph (the Reservation Supervisor) was gracious in terms of allowing us to modify this (which they absolutely were within their right not to do) and did they did so even though modifications for non-refundable reservations cannot be done on Expedia. In addition, CPS10 were open to any future changes to our modified reservation in relation to unexpected problems (e.g., visa/COE/COVID/flight cancelation/etc). Given how hard struck the Thai economy has been, it is amazing that CPS10 didn’t just keep our non-refundable purchase (19 days at last years’ much higher prices). That speaks highly of the character of this hotel. Prior to our arrival from our ASQ hotel, Joseph also helped us secure a hard-to-access dinner reservation (at Raan Jay Fai) on our behalf and accommodated our request for a particular room via email. He was more than happy to do so, and that is the spirit of every staff member at CPS10…and precisely the reason we chose to return to it (and why we already made our December 2021 reservation to stay at this wonderful hotel). We utilized daily housekeeping who were prompt and kept our place immaculately clean. The front desk staff helped us with several requests (e.g., extending our stay, pool/gym sign up access, printing out travel documents, ordering pizza and taxis) and were happy to oblige, along with concierge and security staff in terms of their tuk-tuk service to the main road. Everyone exuded that positive and loving vibe that makes this hotel #1 for us. We’ve stayed in many hotels around the world and CPS10 is by far our favorite. Lock in the low rates, now, before they increase! But even when they return to pre-COVID rates they’re certainly worth every penny. Also, please…tip all staff well. We left 100 THB for housekeeping each day ($3 USD; instead of our usual 40 THB) but made sure to verbally articulate our sincere thanks when seeing housekeeping staff in the hallways. Tipping is not really expected in most places in Thailand. We always tip (we’re Americans) and even though a genuine expression of appreciation is worth more than the monetary token associated with it, we discovered throughout this stay in Thailand that the financial tip is REALLY appreciated/needed these days. We had a feeling about the economic hardship in the Kingdom prior to our travel and vowed to tip heavier than usual (which, is really a lot less than the expected amount in the States). At the end of our 3-week stay at CPS10 we gave about10 staff persons 500THB each (along with a screenshot of a translated message basically saying we were leaving soon and so much appreciated all their service during our stay). Words cannot describe the reactions we got from each one…markedly different than reactions we got from tipping two years ago (to say the least) and they somewhat emotional in some instances. In our experience, Thai people (during pre-COVID times) demonstrate a very strong work ethic, take pride in their work, and possess a refreshing sense of dignity. So, in these hard economic times, the tipping goes very, very far in their day-to-day financial struggles. Please keep this in mind when you purchase your coffees, street eats, spas, etc. It was sort of heart-breaking to see their reactions to our tipping on this trip; more personal signs of the financial hardships Thai people have been enduring. Overall, CPS10 is a great place. You’ll find that it’s truly “Always a good time.” Thank you Alice, Morgan, Joseph, and everyone else for making our trip really special. PS. There are several small businesses (hair salon, spas) just down the road from the hotel. Yet CPS10 provides free tuk-tuk services to/from this location near the main road; Sukhumvit road) thus it's tucked away from the hustle and bustle yet close enough without all the noise. The location is EXCELLENT, and steps away from a beautiful (Benchakitti Park) park.…
We were international travelers from India and had the most amazing stay at this hotel. Value for money, great ambience, friendly staff- it definitely ticks all the boxes. The rooms are extremely well kept and our room had a great view of a nearby lake through the glass doors to the balcony. There is a lot of choice when it comes to food, especially breakfast. Definitely recommend!
This hotel is nothing but class. I had been through some terrible events and they were so kind and understanding! God bless you Alice, Natty and everyone! The staff went out of their way for me and they also provide a shuttle from the hotel up to the main road. 🇹🇭🇹🇭😎😎🙏🙏
