Perfect for anyone stopping in Bangkok for a few nights. I've stayed at this hotel 3 times before and would stay again. We had a room of 3 so worked out about £7 or £8 per person per night for the room so was cheap enough. It l has a nice rooftop pool to laze around in the day, rooms...

In the middle of Khao San Road, Great location for nightlife/temples etc, rooms are what you need, bed, shower, clean, breakfast. Has a rooftop bar and pool, Would definitely recommend to anyone who's starting their stay in Bangkok. Would stay again!

Stayed here with three friends. The bedroom and bathroom are extremely nice. I was very impressed. A nice room isn't everything though... The staff were very unhelpful, the wifi was so bad, construction work began at 9am every morning and the breakfast was decent. Bit overpriced for what you are getting. Great location and the rooftop pool is amazing!

We did not enjoy our 3 night stay here! We were in a room with no window, one of the lights wasn't working so the room was really dark and stuffy, the shower was rubbish, mosquitoes in the room, the TV only had bbc news, the staff were rude and extremely unhelpful, the breakfast wasn't great and extremely chaotic. Location...

It's a shame because this is the best located hostel on Khaosan Road but it's just not worth your while. It's a very well known hostel so backpackers just get drawn in, and end up paying stupid prices for what is a very poor service. Staff are beyond unhelpful and I don't think we saw them crack even 1 smile...

The location on Khaosan road (if that's where you want to stay) is fantastic. The accommodation is easy to find and it has a huge sign towering above it. The negatives: For a country full of people who are so gentle and welcoming, D&D staff were the opposite. From the moment of check in there was no smiles, no thank...

We stayed in the D&D Inn on a recommendation due to it's central location right on the Khaosan Road. We got a good deal on a triple room on Agoda. The hotel is in the middle of the busy area of the Khaosan Road which makes it perfect for experiencing the nightlife. The rooftop pool is incredible and is very...

when in Bangkok i always head for the d and a hotel koasan road----you can go basic room, but these are on the front and can be a little noisy--pay 200bhat more and you get a fridge and a better nights sleep--nice rooftop pool, bar and pool table---you can get great street food and easy tuk tuk at the end...

Just visited d&d inn within khao San road with a couple of friends and had a pretty good time. The hotel is under renovation, so it looks quite underwhelming when you first arrive and step out from the lift, but the rooms were clean and if you request for an interior room (which we did) then there is no problem...

The reason that i decided to staying here was for the rooftop pool. It's super nice to hang out with your friends and you can feel the air of bangkok :) The room was also okay for considering about the price. But I was surprised that they only have one socket in the room, also the wifi is not working...

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
