This B&B is one of the nicest I stayed in during my travels. The rooms were clean and roomy. The breakfast was great and the rooftop swimming pool such a great added bonus! Located right in the centre of Khoa san road were all the action is and a great place to meet people.

Despite we had no window in our room it was still to loud. The base was pumping through the walls the whole night so you couldn't get any sleep. The pool was nice. If you just want to party in BK stay there but if you want to get some rest after you're sightseeing, this is the wronge place!

Pros: - Great location! Right on Khao San Road where you can experience all the action! Walking distance to all the temples. - Rooms away from the road were actually much quieter than expected and we were able to get good sleeps. - Great air con and room was much better than expected for the price. - Nice pool on...

Rooms perfect, could do with a few more pillows. Clean, yep. There were a shed load of cockroaches in my friends bed (vom) asked to move and were fine about it. They were fumigating so I'll let them off. Pool is filthy but really busy and popular and great during the mid day bangkok sun. Staff shouted at my boyfriend...

The hotel itself is very nice, and the pool is also very nice. However, this hotel is on Khaosan Road and is very very noisy at night. For us it was not a problem as we wanted to go and hit the nightlife. If you do not - then do not stay here.

The D&D hotel is a nice hotel with pool, that is right in the middle of the action on the road. The staff are all friendly, and everywhere you go is spotless, due to the dedicated cleaners I see walking up and down the halls each day. However, I do recommend asking for a room without a window, as at...

Stayed here on our last nights in Bangkok, on the very last night we had a fake policeman come to our room demanding a bribe as we had been drinking on Thailands Buddhist'Holiday (no drinking days) and being tourists not knowing the culture he had us going for a few minutes, when we asked to see his badge it became...

We booked in for 2 nights a group of 9 friends. We really enjoyed the pool and the atmosphere, it is in khao san road so the location is perfect. We also had a problem with our backpacks and the hotel said there was no problem if the responsibles od bringing it left it in the room.

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
