Beautiful accommodation with very friendly staff that commands proper english. Unique rooms/villas of an intrinsic beauty that you dont often get to experience (museum without it getting uncomfortable). Great pool and nice food. Go if you can!
My husband and I stayed at Chakrabongse Villas for our wedding anniversary and it was spectacular.
We were upgraded to the River View suite from the Garden Suite which was lovely and had its own private little deck looking out over the river and Wat...More
Stayed for 4 nights last month & enjoyed it immensely. The location could not be bettered if you are interested in visiting the old city. We found our room rather small but beautifully presented. Tea & coffee was available on the landing outside the room....More
Surreal and beautiful place to stay, tucked away behind some unassuming gates this hidden gem of a boutique hotel lends a completely different perspective to Bangkok. Admittedly it is not for everyone, it is not large and corporate, there isn’t 24 hour room service etc....More

While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around
Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.

You'll have a wonderful stay at Chakrabongse Villas and it is important to order dinner the day before at least. The contact at the hotel is Atom, who is lovely. Unfortunatley I can't put her email address here as HTML or weblinks aren't allowed. However if you go to the thaivillas website and send to reservations she will answer.
