I am speechless. It was a perfect stay, and Jason with the rest of the employees went out of their way to help us with the issues that we were having after the airline lost our luggage. Did I mention, how perfect the breakfast wast?

From the moment we arrived at the Old Capital Bike Inn we knew we'd made a good choice. Really friendly welcome with plenty of good suggestions for dining/sightseeing. We walked just up the road to Thipsamai, famed for its Pad Thai for a late night snack before heading back for a good sleep on the comfortable bed. Our loft suite...

Dear Jane and Peter, Again, thank you for giving a chance to host you. It is wonderful to read how much you enjoyed our room's decor and breakfast, as well as the old town area's vibes around the hotel. I'm sure the places you visited and mentioned here will be of great advice to future guests staying at our hotel....

I stayed here for just 2 nights, but i really felt at home here. The moment you enter the Old Capital Bike Inn they do whatever they can to make your stay in Bangkok as pleasant as possible. The rooms are really nice and beautiful with a lot of details, just like the rest of the hotel.. The beds are...

The hotel is in a great location, close to all the main tourist attractions. Jason treats all guests with a genuine interest of you enjoying the city. We felt very welcome and that nothing was any trouble. In addition to the great hints and tips guide placed in our room, he recommended really great places to eat, where the locals...

My husband and I stayed at the Old Capital Bike Inn while celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary. They did not have one room available for the entire stay but were willing to make arrangements and move us to a different room on day two so we could stay. Both rooms had their own charm. The rooms were very clean and...

Beautiful antique bikes and vintage interiors. Staff is as friendly as they come. They offered us suggestions for bar and dining locations for the rest of our trip. Try the bike tour. Walking distance to many must-see temples and attractions.

We stayed in one of the lofts which was very cozy and seemingly spacious for what appears to be a small inn in the heart of downtown old Bangkok. It was within walking distance to many historical sites and highly trafficked tourist destinations for street food markets and shopping. The complimentary breakfast was absolutely delicious as well and we would...

We booked the Queen Loft Suite for a couple nights to relax after a couple days of traveling around some of the islands down south. Having looked at lots of hotels, we finally picked the Old Capital Bike Inn and I am so glad that we did. Reasons to stay here: 1. It is a small, quirky hotel in an old house - much more interesting and personal than a chain hotel. 2. It is in a brilliant location in the old, central part of...

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
