Myself and friend stayed in this hotel last week. We only stayed one night in Bangkok as we were moving to southern Thailand the day after. The hotel was nice and clean and what you'd expect from an IBIS. The breakfasts were good value. The bar seemed to be open all night (it was at 4am from what I remember)....

Good Points: 1. Middle value no frills hotel/hostel with clean and plainly furnished rooms (though room and carpet looked a bit worned). Bad Points: 1. Not great location: Located on noisy and busy road with dirty surroundings. The nearest BTS station is a good 15 minutes away which is a problem in the Bangkok heat. Taxi drivers are unfamiliar with...

Our taxi driver had never heard of the Hotel Ibis Siam, and ended up taking us to Siam Square. He then tried to scam us on the fare - asking for a price way beyond the meter plus the tolls, and I had to ask one of the hotel porters to help me get the correct fare. The driver just...

Landed at 10 am at the front desk after 18hrs+ of non-stop flight from LAX with 2 tired kids (not counting the immigration clearance, and taxi ride to the hotel). Check-in clerk didn't care about all that and didn't give us the keys to the room. He wanted to enforce his 12 noon check-in. By that time, breakfast was closed...

The outlook of the hotel was new and modern in midst of the surronding dilapidated shop houses. There's also a 7-11 store at the next block to get all your necessities. We arrived at 10am but the receptionist was helpful and kind to let us check in earlier than the usual 12 pm. The room was spacious (check out the...

Friendly efficient check in, clean and no-frills room with an aircon that works very well, and a good buffet breakfast. Located close to a Sky Train station, so easy to access most parts of Bangkok, with a great market area in the bylanes just behind the hotel. Great value for money.

Here is a nice place for travellers on a shoestring - Ibis Siam is a new Accor property within spitting distance of great shopping and clubbing without being in the thick of the crowds and noise. Bought 3 room-nights at THB1000 or USD30 each (room only) from the hotel's website and was pleased as punch with the cosy, comfy room...

Ibis is a nice hotel / centrally located. We stayed for 5 nights, got a good deal on their website...all other websites were marginally expensive than the hotel website. Got instant confirmation. Our room was ready when we arrived. Front desk staff are very friendly. Rooms were good, not very big. Good water pressure in the taps. Room equiped with...
