This is a small boutique hotel on Chao Phraya river, in the old part of Bangkok, very close to the main Bangkok temples. The hotel is near the river boat stop Tha Tien N8. There are very few restaurants nearby and they are all closed in the evening, but you can easily find a taxi 24/24 h. Friendly staff, very...

We were cerebrating our anniversary in the Arun Suite last weekend. First the location offers perfectly fantastic view of the Temple of Dawn across the other side of the Chao Praya river. You can obserb lives on the river while watching the sunset. (parking is very challenge as you need to park at Wat Po, which is another side of...

We stayed at the Arun Residence for four nights in January 2011. The Arun Suite was so gorgeous that we are still talking about it. The suite has a private deck and we sat out most evenings watching the sun set behind Wat Arun...heavenly. The staff was great to deal with, the breakfast was very good (have the tuna sandwich)...

Absolutely the best!! Second time we have stayed at Arun Residence. The Arun suite has the most incredible view of Wat Arun. Staff, food, bar are outstanding. Very close to the Grand Palace and the flower market. If you are not familiar with that part of Bangkok finding the place for the first time will be a challenge unless you...

We stayed here for 5 days in January. The location is great, and it's convenient to have the attached bar and restaurant, both of which are very respectable (with stunning views of Wat Arun). The room we stayed in was very comfortable and decorated nicely. The bar on the top floor of the hotel is very popular, so we could...

It's quite a sweet little place in old town, very close to port as well. We stayed 2 days, as the 1st morning we participated a local tour earlier than breakfast time, they were sweet to prepared sandwich for us ! And the night view was incredible ~

We stayed here for two nights in January 2012 on the recommendation of a friend and were glad we did. The hotel has stunning views over the river to Wat Arun (especially at night). Although it is located down a side street we were surprised how many people were in for dinner and wished we'd made a reservation out on...

This is a great little hotel with very kind and helpful staff. If you want downtown Bangkok and all that goes with it, this is not the place to stay. If you want to see Wat Arun, Wat Pho, the Grand Palace (which takes a day), then you'll not find a better place and a better location. There are only...
