It was a 25 minute walk to the sky train and then at least half an hour into the city itself. Or we took a taxi or tuktuk. While you can get a good rate on either going into the city, coming back by taxi or tuktuk is near impossible. They simply do not want to go there so they...

This hotel purely caters for the Chinese market, rooms are clean and staff are cheerful and friendly but everything ultimately is for visitors from China. Breakfast was something to behold if you like noodles and soup for breakfast, they are not very trusting of European guests for whatever reason

Very comfortable stay, a faultlessly clean room. Well appointed. Very comfortable bed. Close to restaurants and shopping, close to MRT and river. The only downside was the noise created by other guests - children running up and down the corridor in the early morning, doors slamming, furniture moving. This affected our sleep quality rating.

We stayed here for 4 nights of our three week holiday. It has been massively refurbished since the pictures on here! It is very clean, staff are very friendly and helpful. We ordered room service and it was excellent and very reasonably priced. It is very near to the river boat network and the BTS railway so very easy to...

This hotel is right in between the tallest sky-scrapers in Bangkok. It's obviously doomed to be demolished to make space for another sky-scraper. It's ran-down and the entrance smelled bad. I ended up here because I was going to the "Sathorn View" which I booked by booking.com but at 6 AM when I arrived Bangkok, the Sathorn View did not...

At 800 baht a night for a double room it is good value. There is a large comfortable bed, everything is old and worn but for a night or two while seeing the sights who cares. Food is nice and the staff are friendly however the hotel is off the beaten track and you will need a map for the...

I stayed there for a weekend and find it quiet, clean, neat with pleasant staff. The front desk manager Khun Onoma was most helpful. Taxis have to be called by reception staff. Room was adequate and good for the price. Bit difficult to return to the hotel at night. Easy to take ferry across (3.5 baht) and to take BTS...

“Lower floors might be less noisy as construction is going on all over the place. Also, the elevator is the slowest I've ever seen, so yes, lower floors are better than the top.”
