Rambuttri House is on the Rambuttri Road just behind Khao San Street. Good location and well maintained. We stayed twice at the place once at the beginning of our Thailand trip for 2 nights and once at the end of the trip, after we returned from Hua Hin for 2 more nights. We were welcomed with a warm smile and...

If you are planning to get to sleep before 1am look elsewhere. Located on the party end of Rambuttri there's a lot of live music around. My room at the far end of the hotel (requested quiet room and an effort was made). Unfortunately there was a band complete with drums just outside my window which finished around midnight. The...

This is definitely not the best hotel in the area but it is definitely one of the best for the price. This hotel is in the heart of the party zone and a block away from khaosan road. Great place for a traveler on a budget.

We stayed at rambuttri house for 2 nights during our stay in Bangkok. The room was small but very clean and well taken care of. The location was perfect as it was steps away from Khao San road. The bed was hard but I think that is to be expected in most places in Thailand. The staff were very friendly...

PROS: The position is perfect but the map will brings you in the wrong Road (it is closer to the main touristic road than u think, so perfect). The reception is always open so u can leave your keys there and forget the risk of loosing them (u pay 500 TBH for caution). There are a lot of surveillance camera...

So fairly decent stay the room was clean and fairly well presented staff where friendly .... However as it appears the hotels arround koh San do not like people having Thai visitors which is a shame as my Thai friend could not even come upstairs while I am getting ready! Other than this couldn't complain had a three person room...

I booked this hotel from my homeland.. Rooms were nice with no problems. Location is everything and from here you can dispatch yourself to khaosan markets, Nightlife and you have what ever you need next to you.

We went there by bus and got confused between the maps and the street. After we ask a local, turns out that we were at the wrong street. Until we find the right street, it's not that hard to find the Hotel. Surrounding by bar, massage parlor, restaurant, mini market (there are 2 711 at both end of the street)....

Very good location. To spend happy and funny moments. The rooms are simple, clean, with everything you need to rest quietly. The staff will help you in everything you need. Excellent value for money. Super recommended.

I stayed there one night. It's ok for short stay but while you book you should ask for a room with no window from the street. I was lucky but It's in the middle of that mess:noise, parties ecc. It was ok but I've payed too much for these basic conditions. Wifi, hot water and A/C work.

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
