Stayed 6 night at the Bangkok Indigo hotel and what an amazing experience it was. From the greetings at the front door to an incredible friendly and helpful front desk to house keeping and breakfast staff. This hotel is a must if you are in Bangkok. The location is close to shopping malls, metro and many restaurants from small local once’s to fancy once’s. The room we stayed in was spacious and well decorated with an awesome shower and amazing views of Bangkok. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a truly unique experience when it comes to customer service. Absolutely top notch led by the young talented general manager Jennifer. Thank you to all staff members for an incredible experience.

The retro style hotel is located in an upmarket area of Bangkok away from the nightlife and crowds. It creates an ambience of a bygone era with retro lights, furniture and audio equipment. Rooms are spacious and mine had a small balcony overlooking a green area. It was a corner room with great views on two sides. The bathroom was also large with a separate bath and shower area featuring retro fittings.
The hotel is conveniently located and is walking distance to both the BTS (Ploenchit) as well as the MRT (Lumpini). If you like the outdoors, the Lumpini park is just a short walk away. The breakfast buffet is decent but a little limited in choice. It is a great choice if you want to visit Bangkok but stay away from the crowds.

I stayed at Indigo hotel for a business trip for one week in February 2020. It was a great experience. The hotel is located within walking distance from my office, and therefore I can still do exercise (walk) every morning and afternoon. The breakfast was excellent. The staff are all friendly and provided best service. I love the swimming pool, that although I didn't swim yet by just sit in a lazy chair at the pool area made me relax and sleepy. The room I stayed in, has a balcony which is great to sit for a fresh air. During the stay I got complimentary soft drinks, some beers, some snacks, evening snacks, and free laundry service (2 pcs per day). The laundry service was excellent that they fixed my broken blouse at my surprise (the blouse broken even before I departed to Bangkok, but they returned it after laundry the the broken part fixed)! Thank you!. My suggestion is to provide a bathtub inside all room if possible :), and the room service to give correct information to the receptionist next time: regarding which snack I took and which were I didn't. I will consider staying at Indigo hotel again in the future.

The mix of contemporary and classic design looks good but ambiance is lost somewhere in between. Lights in the bathroom are only enough to know it’s actually you in the mirror, the gold colours are faded and looks like rust in real. No sound proofing and constant noises adds to the pain. Room service is 2 stars at max, asked for a knife to cut mangoes for our kid, they said we can’t provide it in the room, as if we’re going to cut each other with a fruit knife, after giving them the mangos to cut, called 3 times but they lost on the way. Staff at the breakfast restaurant are over worked and get your orders wrong most of the times. Must appreciate the taste of every breakfast item however. We were part of s group and got some great complementary items and services. Check in / out was superb. Overall it seems like a 3 star hotel with 5 star name tent.

The room and decoration is just great can not deny the pool is awesome, though it’s a bit small.
However, the room is not greatly designed where the blinds have gaps between them, your room will start to light up at dawn. So sleep earlier and wake earlier if you can’t sleep in bright light. The balcony overlooking the garden is awesome. They gave free upgrades too if the hotel isn’t too busy.
Reception staffs is great but the restaurant I suggest you can go just try it once then skip if dislike, as there are a lot of great places nearby that offer nicer breakfast at cheaper price.
Ordered a flat white, end up with a cup of foam and some “coffee” at the btm that taste like the remains of the last cup they made.
Ordered a green curry with the least spice, end up with one the hottest curry I ever had in Thailand, and I do like eating spicy food.
Asked for cutleries to be delivered to room, hv to wait 20minutes.
So I guess everything to do with the restaurant is a bit off. If only one or two of the above happened, will still give 5stars to the review. Kinda sad as it’s a stylish nice hotel. Hope they improve.

I tried the combo set thai food menu at the restaurant on 2nd floor called ‘Metro on wireless restaurant’ and found that this is the best price I’ve ever found in BKK! I paid two hundred baht. So cheap and valuable. In one set you will get main dish plus appetizer or dessert (the staff told me to choose) and you’ll get free herbal drink too! So, recommend to who are around this area.

From the moment we arrived at Hotel Indigo we knew it was going to be a special stay. All staff were absolutely fantastic and are happy to assist with any requirement. When we got to the room it got even better. The view was sensational and the balcony area provided a great place to relax in the morning. On the first day, we arrived late so went straight up to the Char rooftop bar. The atmosphere, drinks and views from here were incredible. The Char cocktails were unique and I would highly recommend. The food we ordered was also sensational, and it was all at a very good price considering the setting. It wasn’t at all pretentious like some rooftop venues can be, and it made for a relaxed, laugh filled evening. The staff were extremely attentive and accommodating, moving us to better seating when our friends arrived. The second day couldn’t have started better! The breakfast was superb and I would highly recommend for the price! We then went exploring Bangkok. The hotel is conveniently located next to the BTS, and you can start your day of with a walk around the fantastic Lumphini Park. We then used the infinity pool facilities and Wow! Once again the views were amazing, and it was a comfortable and relaxing setting. We had food here again too which was superb, as were the drinks. In the evening, we ate at the Char restaurant and this was a really special experience. The views, food and atmosphere were exceptional. The staff were incredible and ensured our evening was spectacular. Thank you! We tend to try different hotels when we visit cities, however we will definitely be stoping here again!

There is a lot to like about Indigo hotel: the rooms look very nice, clearly a refreshing change from a generic Marriott or Hilton for example, and good quality hardware. However for guests who are elite members of several hotel chain loyalty programs, Indigo Hotel is a hard sell for me because of IHG's poor benefits: there is no lounge, they used to give 800 THB F&B credit but it's been eliminated, drink vouchers have also been eliminated, breakfast is not free for elites unlike at most other big hotel chains (Hyatt, Marriott, Hilton, Accor, SLH), and as far as I know the entire hotel has a grand total of one suite so a significant room upgrade would be a pipe dream. For the same price I can have a boring Marriott with a lounge, breakfast, and a suite, so having the nice-looking room ends up being quite a compromise to make to say the least... in those circumstances then why not stay at W? My takeaway after staying at Indigo is that it would be a better fit for a solo traveller who does not care too much about suites, and someone who normally does not eat breakfast in the hotel.
In current covid times many hotels have rolled out generous food & beverage perks but unfortunately Indigo has been backtracking so they stands out by being bare bones. I might consider returning in the future if they change their loyalty benefits but in the foreseeable future it’s a no-go for me even though I really liked the room.

This was not my first time staying in this property and I still love this place so much. This time I booked the only one suite in this hotel. The room was gorgeous but I can see it getting aged. I visited rooftop in the evening to see sunset with a glass of mocktail while I was stuned by the spectacular view. Just one thing I like to mentioned, at night I request for 1 set of toothbrush but staff said they don't provide it anymore, this could not happen in the hotel as it is a thing that every hotels should provide for guest. It should not concern about covid-19 as well as it is not a thing that hotel reuse it. But in the end, staff can provide it for me.

Booked two rooms as Diamond member got two rooms right next to each other one was corner room with large bathroom, walk in and sit down shower, and bath rub. Room was perfect and seriously well decorated with finishing details in adundance. Hotel facilities were equally amazingly decorated and laid out. Char restaurant was 11/10 perfect. The only minor negative was the breakfast which could probably do with more effort and quality control. Highly recommended option in Bangkok.

Yes, they have an arrangement with a local shuttle company which is very good, compared to my previous experience with a Taxi, Hotel Indigo's person was far more pleasant and efficient.
There are more places to choose from in the Bangkok area.
