The only good thing about this 'reaidence apartment' is the location, next to Saphan Taksin BTS & Sathorn pier. Bangrak generally a good place to stay. Pity, as it began well enough, but deteriorated pretty quickly after the first night. We were a party of 4 booking 2 rooms over a 3 night weekend. There is a scam of sorts,...

We spent our first two nights in Bangkok here. We arrived in the morning after 10 hours of flying but we're not able to check in before 2 pm, which is fair enough! The room was spacious and very clean. The wifi was ok but not the best. The hotel is located very close to a train station but it...

I think, this is the best option for those travelers, who are looking for a great, central place and not expensive hotel. Very good availability of transport - BTS (Metro) - 2 mins walk, Chao Praya Ferry central - 2,5 mins walk, shops & great street food - 1 minute away. If I go back to Bangkok one day, I...

The apartment is just a very short walk from the Taksin BTS-station. The ferry pier is behind the Taksin station. From here you can get almost everywhere by BTS, boat and metro. Lots of eateries and shops in the neigbourhood including a department store (Robson) with a great supermarket and foodcourt in the basement. You can reach the hotel, coming...

We booked this hotel for a few nights and booked the property based on the fact there is a fitness centre and the good reviews. We arrived and we had to pay for the accommodation upfront plus 500 baht deposit. The security guard took us to our room. The room smelt like it hadn't been aired for a long time,...

Hospitality oriented. Very friendly and practical service. Very close to river boat and sky-train services. Very friendly service. Very comfortable. Very conveniently located as a place to explore Bangkok. Enjoy Bangkok and keep coming back. I had stayed here prior to December 2015 but survey did not permit this.

I find the price, location, accommodations and staff all to be excellent at S.T. I have stayed many times for short and long stays. I can say I've never had a problem that wasn't immediately resolved at this location. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a clean, quiet place 5minwalk to stores, restaurants, bts sky train and the river. The staff...

I along with my sisters and families stayed in three double rooms two weeks ago in Sathorn terrace apt. Rooms were clean, housekeepers did good jobs everyday. The Manager, Earth was very polite and efficient, he could communicate well despite the language barrier. All the staff including security were very helpful. Robinsons departmental store and bunch of street restaurants with...

Sathorn Terrace is well located, literally a hop, skip and jump for a BTS station and a just a short jaunt further to the ferry jetty. You can walk from here to Silom or Chinatown. Lots of local food options around - the best being the food court at the back entrance of Robinsons (which is just around the corner)....

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
